Chapter 23

3rd POV

"Oh yeah. Another beautiful day in this wonderfu-." Howzer was cut short when his father kicked him in the head. "Ah, my head."
"You're keeping the young master waiting with your another beautiful day, you idiot!"
"That really hurt dad!"
"Now stop lallygagging and go help repair the town like a man."
"Yeah, yeah. I'm going. I'm going."
"Well then we'll be off." Griamore waved.
"Be sure to stop by and visit soon." Howzer's father waved.
"Hey, Howzer, Gilthunder, Griamore." A sweet voice greeted.
"Hi (y/n)." Howzer said with a light blush.
"Good morning (y/n)." Gilthunder greeted.
"Wait a minute, who is this?" Howzer's father asked inspecting (y/n) and then looking over at his sons blushing face. "You're not his girlfriend are you?"
"Girlfriend?!?!" The two exclaimed blushing.
"It's not like that, really!" (Y/n) blushed. "We're just friends."
"Oh well that makes sense. No way a pretty girl like you would be interested in my lazy son."
"Dad! What the hell?!!"
"I don't really think Howzer is lazy. He's actually very helpful and kind." (Y/n) complement making him blush even more.
"You're really a nice and pretty girl. Hard to find those types. If you need any help just ask me. Now, Howzer, I expect you to treat this girl right you hear!! Be gentleman for once in yourself."
"What are you talking about?!! Of course I am!"
"Are you really cause you're making this poor girl wait on you. Now hurry up and leave!!" His father yelled unexpectedly hitting him on the head while the others just sweatdropped at their relationship. They definitely had a weird father-son relationship.
"What's with in him anyway?" Howzer asked rubbing his head.
"It's been ages since I've last seen your father. Guess he hasn't changed too much." Gilthunder said.
"And it looks like your still no match for your old man, are you?" Griamore laughed.
"You guys have strange relationship." (Y/n) sweatdroped. They continued walking and talking until suddenly a shingle fell and hit Howzer right on the head.
"What happened?" Griamore asked.
"That shingle came out of nowhere." Howzer said holding his head in pain.
"Oh, no, are you alright?" (Y/n) asked worriedly bending down on the ground. She waved her hand over his head healing his wound. "Does that feel better?"
"Y-yeah."
"Anyways guys I'll be going."
"Already?" Gilthunder asked.
"Yeah. I just remembered Meliodas wanted me to do something. Be careful alright!!" She yelled already turning and disappearing out of sight. When she was in the clear she made her wings appear flying straight up into the sky behind Gilthunder and into an alleyway where Meliodas and Gowther were pathetically hidden.
"Hey guys."
"Do you noticed us?" Meliodas asked.
"Yeah. Why are you watching them anyway?"
"Merlin asked us to." He answered. (Y/n) turned her attention back on the three guys only to find that now Griamore got hurt from a falling piece of brick. That definitely was stranger and the weirder thing was that Meliodas, Gowther, and her sensed a hint of magic. The guys walked off so of course the sins and (y/n) continued to follow and watch them. The next strange occurrence was when Howzer kicked a rock and it bounced off of thin air which was then followed by a meta signing falling off about to hit Howzer until Gilthunder protected him and the sign just floating above them and landing safely on the floor.
"Okay, I get it. It's all coming together." Meliodas said.
"You've already figured out who was behind these spells?" Gowther asked.
"Yeah, but we're gonna have to catch 'em as they do it."
"How are we going to do that?" (Y/n) asked.
"We just have to keep following them. Come on!" Meliodas said running forward and (y/n) followed behind, both of the them not realizing that Gowther was no longer with them. (Y/n) and Meliodas followed them for a while until almost getting caught when Meliodas sneezed.
"Whew. That was close."
"You almost got us caught." (Y/n) said. (Y/n) and Meliodas watched as the guys went to a little shop and ordered some tea however as the waitress was bringing it, her eyes dulled and an invisible figure put something in one of the cups. Right before they could drink it, Meliodas and (y/n) appeared.
"Yo. It's the three amigos. You guys taking a break from putting the town back together?" Meliodas asked.
"Meliodas, (y/n)." Griamore said.
"Oh, man, truth be told, I've been pretty busy myself and could use a drink. You don't mind if I have a sip of your tea, do you?" Meliodas asked Gilthunder.
"Uh, sure. Go ahead."
"Thank you." Meliodas accepted the cup and even took a sip out of it.
"Don't you dare drink that!!!!"
"Who's there? Who said that?" Griamore asked. Meliodas spit the drink out on the invisible figure and the woman screamed. "A human?"
"Three years. It took three years to create that love potion! Who do you think you are, getting in my way after all this time?" The woman jumped into the air attacking all of the them with a fire ball.
"Meliodas let me handle this." (Y/n) said stepping up a little. She put her hand up and the fire ball wrapped around her arm and then shot back at the woman making her fall on the floor but this time visible.
"My, Gil!" The woman cried.
"Is that you, Vivian?"
"Just as I thought." In the end Meliodas, (y/n), and Gilthunder brought Vivian to Merlins lab where she tied her up on a table.
"Are you alright?" Gilthunder asked.
"Is that you, Gil? What? What is this?"
"Demon sealing chains." Merlin answered.
"Master?!"
"Pretty impressive Merlin. How'd you know?" Meliodas asked.
"Well, she is one of my students, after all. Now then as for her punishment, we'll leave that to Sir Gilthunder's more than capable hands."
"My hands?"
"It's your right as someone who suffered for so long from her misdeeds. Since she stole 10 years of your life, maybe you want to steal 10 years from hers."
"Have mercy!!!" Vivian begged.
"Or how about we turn her into an ugly toad and toss her out?" Merlin suggested.
"No please, I beg of you! All I wanted was to be by Gil's side! That's all I wanted!! That's all I ever needed to be happy!!!"
"I forgive you... but only if you truly repent for what you did to Margaret from the bottom of your heart."
"Yeah, right." Meliodas and Merlin said at the same time.
"Even so, no matter how misguided Vivian may have been, she was acting out of love, but I can't."
"Oh Gil!" Vivian cried.
"You need to promise me Vivian, you'll forget everything about me and move on in your life."
"No."
"Told ya." Meliodas said earning him a hit on the head from (y/n).
"Anyway, I will free you from your bonds as Sir Gilthunder wishes, but first.... Cursed Engagement!!" Merlin hit both Gilthunder and Vivian which a magical blast which broke the chains and put a ring on Vivian's finger. "Now Sir Gilthunder, repeat the word remada."
"R-Remada?" Gilthunder repeated and Vivian's felt a sharp pain like being stabbed by 5 swords making her cry out in pain and a mark grew on her hand from the spell.
"The cursed engagement ring that I've placed on Vivian's finger will control her. The word remada activates it's demonic power, subjecting her to the pain of being stabbed throughout her body. The same thing will happen if Vivian tries to cast a spell on Sir Gilthunder. Denmark will spread every time the curse activates. Once it envelops your entire body, your death will surely be painful. And just so you know, the ring and it's curse can never be removed."
"A... A monster. You're a true devil!!!"
"Idiot. You only realizing that now?"
"Scary." Meliodas said cutely turning away.
"Merlin you're scaring me." (Y/n) said getting shivers down her spine.
"Do you have any idea how close you came to commuting an unforgivable crime? Spurred on by Hendrickson, you plot of the resurrection of the Demon Clan. Beyond that, you don't even have a clue what the Demon Clan is."
"Th-that's not true. We were practically finished with our research on the Red Demons, and we almost had the Gray Demons figured out as well. Even if they had come back to life in this world, we had no shortage of counter measures, the Goddess Amber for example."
"And who made the Goddess Amber?" Merlin asked.
"Uh, w-well, you did, master."
"Then heed this advice from its creator. It can capture the Red and Gray Demons rather easily, nothing more powerful."
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Vivian asked confused. "You can't mean there are more than Red and Gray Demons?" This time her voice was much more terrified.
"You have no idea. Quite simply, both of them are nothing more then weak and lowly foot soldiers. I can assure you there are much higher ranked Demon Classes in the Demon Clan. The strongest and most fearsome of them all are the ten you serve the Demon King. Is extraordinarily powerful group is known as the Ten Commandments. If they're ever resurrected, nothing will stop them from conquering Britannia." Merlin explained and Vivian just sobbed in fear and a hint of guilt.
"You freaked her out." Meliodas said calmly.
"Can we go. I'm a little creeped out from all of that." (Y/n) said.
"Of course we can. Shall we." With a snap of Merlin's finger they were all inside the Boar Hat and when night time rolled around the place was packed with men cheering for the waitresses Diane and Elizabeth but mainly Merlin.
"Aw, she's stealing the limelight." Diane huffed.
"You look amazing Lady Merlin." Elizabeth complemented.
"Yow! This is the allure of a mature woman." Howzer said.
"I can't believe Meliodas put you up to that. I'm so sorry Merlin." (Y/n) said.
"Oh now, we'll this isn't any fun. You're the only one that isn't in the uniform." Merlin said with a sly smirk.
"You're not getting me into th-." (Y/n) cut herself off when she heard Merlin's fingers snap and she was in the Boar Hat's uniform. "M-Merlin!!" She blushed furiously as every single guy in the tavern went even crazier for (y/n). Howzer spit out his drink on poor Griamore at the sight of (y/n).
"There you go. That's better." Merlin smirked.
"You truly are evil." (Y/n) mumbled and Merlin just chuckled.
"I take it back. She's even hotter." Howzer blushed.
"You said it." Griamore agreed.
"Yeah." Gilthunder blushed.
"Yeah! You look great (y/n)!!!" Ban cheered giving her a thumbs up. "Just go to sleep like that tonight and I just won't let you go in bed!"
"Ahh!" (Y/n) blushed even further when the crowd went wilder. "Shut up Ban!! You can't yelled stuff like that out loud!!!" (Y/n) yelled throwing a tray at Ban's face in a fit of anger. Of course her torment didn't end there. She felt a pair of hands grope her boobs with legs wrapped around her waist from behind.
"Thank you so much for this blessing Merlin. I definitely owe you one."
"I'm done with this!!!!!" (Y/n) yelled slamming Meliodas onto the ground.
"Wow, you're a feisty one aren't ya."
"Hot and she got some spirit. I like it!"
"Yeah, come do a little dance for us!" (Y/n) was no longer the same. It stayed a bright red from everything that just happened.
"Look! Another poster girl's showed up!" This definitely drew everyone's attention to the stairs with excitement in there hearts but that died down the moment they saw who was at the steps.
"Say hello to the Boar Hat's fifth Poster Girl, Gowther. May I take your order?"
"And don't you forget about the Boar Hat's immortal scraps star, Lord Hawk!" Hawk announced dressed in the uniform as well and on Gowther's head.
"Rejected." The male sins all said.
"But why?"
"No!!!"
