3rd POV

Flashback 3000 years ago

"Daddy can you teach me how to fight like you?" The little (h/c) haired girl asked with her beautiful white wings out. Her father was a handsome man with black hair, (e/c) eyes and a small hint of a stubble on his chin. He was still rather young with a body of a solider which of course didn't bother his wife at all. His wife was a beautiful young woman with (h/c) hair and green eyes. She was an extremely beautiful young woman who's looks got passed down to her lovely daughter. They were beautiful happy family far away from any town. And there was a particular reason for that. If anyone would to ever find them they would immediately be hunted down and killed. Why? Because her mother was a goddess but not just some ordinary goddess. She was the daughter of the Supreme Diety and her husband was the complete opposite. He was a high ranking solider for the demon clan. During battle Cyril, (y/n)'s father was gravely injured and was saved by Eileen, (y/n)'s mother. It was like a spark between the two and they met again and again in secret before deciding to run away together. A couple years later and (y/n) was born. They knew very much if they were found they would be labeled as traitors and there entire family would be wiped out.
"You should learn how to fly fast first don't you think?" Her father said.
"Then teach me! I wanna fly even faster then you one day."
"Sorry. No flying today."
"Pretty please!" (Y/n) begged giving her father her cute face.
"(Y/n). Don't make that face."
"Look away. She's too cute!" Eileen said turning her head away.
"Pretty please with cherries on top. Please Mommy and Daddy." They tried your look away but they couldn't. Their daughter's face was just too cute.
"Fine." Cyril gave in.
"Yeah!!!"
"For 30 minutes only okay." Eileen said.
"Okay!" Eileen and Cyril made their wings appear and grabbed (y/n) flying into the air. They soared through the sky with a smile on their face the entire time. Occasionally they would play around. Her father would scare (y/n) and Eileen and they would just laugh it off. What they didn't notice was that a demon clan solider happened to see the family flying by and went to report.

"That was fun!" (Y/n) cheered jumping on the couch.
"It's been a while since I've had a chance to use my wings. It feels good." Cyril said.
"I know. I've missed it."
"Mommy, Daddy. How come we don't ever go out and fly?" Eileen and Cyril both shared a look before sitting down next to her.
"Well because it can be dangerous for us." Cyril answered.
"Dangerous how?"
"People are after your father and I so we have to try and stay hidden."
"Why? Did you do something bad?"
"We fell in love." Eileen answered staring at Cyril's eyes with happiness.
"But love is a good thing isn't it. I'm confused."
"I know. When you're older we'll explain it to you." Cyril said bring (y/n) to his lap.
"I don't like being a kid." She complained crossing her arms and her parents just giggled.
"I'm going to make dinner."
"I'll help!" (Y/n) offered.
"Me too." Cyril said.
"(Y/n) you can help but your father cannot."
"What? Why not? I won't mess up this time."
"I won't risk our dinner. You can sit. Come on (y/n)." She said carrying (y/n) away.
"Daddy can't cook!" (Y/n) laughed.
"That's right."
"Watch one day I'll make something that'll surprise you both."
"Is it because it'll be so bad I'll be knocked unconscious?" Eileen teased and (y/n) couldn't help but laugh.

***

(Y/n) was fast asleep when suddenly her mother barged into her room shaking her body urgently.
"Mommy? What is it?" (Y/n) could see the worry in her face and that made her feel scared too.
"(Y/n) we have to leave. Come on." Eileen carries (y/n) out of bed without a second thought and into the living room which was barely even the same. The walls were filled with holes in them and many soldiers were passed out on the floor dead. Her father was in the center of it killing another solider.
"Daddy?" (Y/n) asked scared. Her father looked at her with pure sadness and wanted to say something but didn't have time to since Eileen flew through the roof and carried her away. Now in the sky (y/n) got to see the hundreds of demon army soldiers outside her house. Once Eileen was outside she was attacked by a blanket of arrows. She was able to dodge most of it only earning a few scratches while heading to the forest. (Y/n) however was relatively safe. Once in the forest her mother placed (y/n) hidden inside a tree trunk.
"Mommy? What's going on? I'm scared? Why did we leave Daddy?" (Y/n) asked tears already building up in her eyes.
"I'm sorry (y/n). I can't explain it all to you right now. I'm sure you'll understand when you're older. Just know that your dad and I love you more then anything in the world."
"Mommy!!" Her mom cast a barrier around (y/n) to protect her before flying off. (Y/n) sat down and cried. Their were so many emotions going on in her head. She was sad that she had to leave her mom and dad, she was worried because her mom looked so sad, and she was confused on what was going on until a lightbulb went off. She remembered the conversation she had with her parents a few days ago where they said people were after them because they fell in love. In that moment it all became clear to her.
"Mommy and daddy are going to die." She started to hit the barrier but it wouldn't break until suddenly it disappeared. (Y/n) sprouted our her wings and immediately flew away towards her house. In a short while she was there. She broke right through the wall but didn't find her parents fighting. Instead she saw them both laying on the floor bleeding out.
"Mommy! Daddy!!"
"(Y/n)?" Her father said weakly. "Run away (y/n). Fly away as far as you can please." The soldiers still in the house swung their swords down on her but she ran right past them to where her father laid.
"Daddy!! Why is mommy sleeping? Why won't she wake up? Mommy!!"
"(Y/n)..." her father called. He caressed her cheek with his bloody covered hand and smiled. "I love you." His hand dropped to the ground and his eyes fell shut, never to open again. "Daddy!! Daddy wake up!!" (Y/n) begged and cried for her parents to wake up but they didn't. The soldiers within the house watched the scene with a sick smile on their faces. When it hit (y/n) that her parents weren't ever waking up again, she lost control of herself. She let out an ear piercing scream which could be heard even outside the house as she cried. A large force of energy began to surround her and her hair including her tears floated into the air. She released such large amounts of energy unknowingly that the house, the field, the soldiers, and a part of the forest was completely wiped out leaving no remains of the events that occurred except for a large Danafall sized hole in the ground and a small piece of earth which remained standing like a pillar which (y/n) laid unconscious.

Flashback over

Over, and over, again, the death of (y/n)'s parents replayed in her mind like on a loop. It started off the same, with a happy little girl, innocently playing with her family but then it would end in bloodshed and death. Her parents death was a scar on her heart that would hard to get over. And it did take her a while. She was stuck in this ongoing loop until finally, she was able to accept it, and move on. And when that happened, her trial was over.
