3rd POV

"It might be amnesia caused by blunt force trauma to the head."
"Merlin! You got your body back?" Hawk asked.
"No. It's just an illusion to make it easier for you to talk to me."
"Oh I guess that makes sense."
"Diane's forgotten about Hawk and me, but she does remember Sir Meliodas and (y/n)."
"When was the last time she called me Meliodas?"
"Poor King, you should've seen how pale he was!" Hawk said sympathetically. "As for me, I came this close to being eaten raw!" While (y/n) tried to calm down Hawk, King ran into the room yelling something about Diane not remembering the Sins.
"She's continuing to loser more memories?" Merlin asked.
"That's right! No it's not just me, she's forgotten about the captain and (y/n), too!"
"Come to think of it, when I first met Diane, she might've called me by my first name."
"Is that really important right now?" (Y/n) sweatdropped.
"(Y/n), can you heal her or something?" King asked.
"No, I'm sorry." She answered shaking her head. "I can heal physical injures just fine but I struggle with anything past that."
"For now, let's just observe Diane." With that everyone went outside to where Diane was suppose to be, but she wasn't anywhere in sight. According to one of the Knights, she took off without saying anything.
"Where could she have gone?" King asked.
"She must be headed to where she lives before joining the Seven Deadly Sins." Gowther said walking up to the group alongside Slader.
"What do you mean?" King asked.
"I erased her memories using Lost World. Listen to learn about emotions, I manipulated Guila's memories. Diane strongly condemned me for that, and said... "if you think memories are something you can just change then you've got another thing coming." So as a test, I erased hers. As I thought, do you were easily erased. Memories are nothing more than a bit of information, after all."
"Gowther!!" King yelled with tears in his eyes. "How could you do that to someone's memories?"
"Easy King." Meliodas said. King stared at Gowther for a while before turning back into his kid form but this time he was calmer.
"No. I have no right to condemn you. But at least tell me this. What feelings you do experience when you were raised her memories?"
"Feelings? I don't understand the question. Surely they aren't necessary to raise someone's memories."
"No necessary?" King repeated a low sweet voice laced with pain.
"What's wrong? Why are you angry?"
"I'm not angry." King smiled. "I'm genuinely disappointed in you, that's all. People's hearts...." Gowther was suddenly slammed away by Chastiefol in its beat form. "Aren't playthings!! Captain, I'm sorry but I'm going after Diane even if I'm on my-." King cut himself off when he already saw the others running away.
"Come on! Don't just stand there!"
"We're going to find Diane, alright King." (Y/n) smiled.
"Okay!!" All together everyone climbed aboard Hawk's Mom and said bye to Camelot. They were now leaning and searching for their friend Diane. "So where do we start?" King asked.
"Before Diane joined the Seven Deadly Sins, I heard she lived in her hometown." Meliodas answered.
"Then you mean..."
"The Giant race's homeland, Megadoza."
"Please wait for us Diane. We'll find you no matter how long it takes." Elizabeth whispered staring out the window.
"But still, 300 miles is a lot to cover." Meliodas said.
"Yeah, thank goodness we're moving fast, but... hey, Merlin, is there any way you could use Teleportation?"
"Right now, it's all I can do to keep my soul contained in Aldan. I'm sorry, King."
"Alright."
"Not only that but I'd like to keep a reserve of my magical power for emergencies."
"What do you mean by that?" Merlin extended her hand and a map appeared in front of King with a blinking white dot on it.
"In the direction Diane is heading, from the ruins of Edinburgh Castle along the way...I'm picking up waved of monstrous evil." All of a sudden Meliodas ran out the Boar Hat and asked Hawk's Mom to stop.
"What's going on Captain? Let's get moving," (y/n) walked outside, next to Meliodas, sensing threw powerful auras.
"It two of the Ten Commandments and someone else's I don't know. But they're clashing right now. On the Ten Commandmens' side, there's Monspeet and Galand. The other had a power I haven't crossed before."
"That person must be very powerful to stand up to two of the Commandments. I wonder who it could-." (Y/n) caught herself off when sensing a powerful surge of energy and she wasn't the only one.
"Big Sister, could this overpowering, murderous intent be..."
"Yes. It looks like they've detected our presence as well."
"Seriously? But they're hundreds of miles away, right? Just how keen is their sense of smell?" Hawk asked.
"I-I don't think they detected us by smell." Elizabeth said.
"I can't believe he's the one who noticed us." Once again everyone sensed a massive, devastating power heading right for them at blinding speeds. "Hawk's Mom! Change direction and run as fast as you can!!" Meliodas commanded. Hawk's Mom listened and turned to the side running away as fast as she could but the magical power changed trajectory to follow them. The attack was heading for them from the side so Meliodas was left no choice but to use Full Counter which would give up their location; however, Hawk's Mom suddenly changed her path to head right for the attack. She charged at it head on and when it hit, she ate it.
"Did..." Meliodas began.
"That..." (y/n) continued.
"Just..." King said.
"Happen!!!!!" Hawk yelled.
"But seriously, you're unbelievable, Hawk's Mom!" Meliodas complemented.
"I'm still in shock. That was amazing!" (Y/n) added.
"Maybe a little too unbelievable don't you think?" King asked.
"Hawk's Mom, you're stomach's not upset, is it?" Elizabeth asked.
"Captain listen!" Merlin called. "I advise a change of direction."
"Hold on Merlin!!! That's not what I agreed to!" King yelled. "If you don't want to looks for Diane, I'm going off on my own!"
"I understand how you feel, but calm down, King. Diane's presence has faded, along with whoever was facing the Ten Commandments. And right before we were attacked, too. Most likely, they're both safe. But if we were to recklessly approach them now? We would put Diane in danger." Merlin explained and Gowther put his head down in sadness.
"Don't worry." (Y/n) smiled putting a hand on his shoulder. "We're going to rescue Diane. I'm sure of it."
"So, the change in direction means you have somewhere else in mind, right." Meliodas asked.
"Right now, our top priority is to power up so we can fight the Ten Commandments. And to start... I'm going to give you back the power I stole from you, Captain." Merlin said making everyone stare in surprise at Meliodas.
"I don't understand, what power?" Elizabeth asked.
"I took a percentage of the captain's power because it was too overwhelming and dangerous. That's why the captain had to constantly keep his emotions in check so his powers wouldn't run rampant."
"But it's not like he hasn't gone berserk more than once before, right?" Hawk asked.
"Those times? In terms of his true power, what you saw was merely the dregs."
"Merely the dregs she said." Hawk laughed.
"Laugh it up pork ball."
"Ten years ago, in the midst of the drama surrounding our exile, when a certain girl was seriously injured trying to save the young princess, the captain started to lose control. The moment he let down his guard I separated his strength from him."
"I can't believe something like that happened." King said.
"Oh, I completely forgot about that."
"We're going to need that power to battle the Ten Commandments."
"Makes sense. So, where is it now?"
"The location isn't that far from here. The Holy Land of the Druids, the sages of the forest... Istar."
