3rd POV
"How... When did you realize?" The mage in the red dress asked. "How did you know I was watching him?"
"About Little Gil. When we met up in the Forest of White Dreams."
"Wh-What did you say?"
"When he uttered that charm, in the Forest of White Dreams, I knew his every move was being watched, and someone had been taken hostage."
"You knee everything from the start? That's a lie! You were fighting with everything you got!!" The mage yelled again. She couldn't believe that Meliodas broke her spell or even knew about it. She made sure to be as secretive as possible.
"Little Gil's laying his life on the line for the woman he loves. And for me to lay my life on the line, that's being a good bro."
"Impossible! For it to end like this... No way am I gonna let this happen!" The mage yelled. She suddenly began changing the area to different environments: she sent them to the forest, the desert, in the mountains, in the snow, at a waterfall.
"All right, which world would you like to die in?" She asked until suddenly a large creature stole her staff and was about to eat her before it just froze. The mage turned around to face Arthur's mage who was floating in the air. "You lame excuse for a mage!" Suddenly a large gust of purple covered Arthur's mage so no one could see inside.
"That habit of losing your head in a rage... how many times have I told you to kick it? My disciple, Vivian." Through the purple gust of wind, it could be seen. On the mysterious person's neck was the symbol of the boar.
"There's no way I would have guessed she'd be with you, Arthur." Meliodas said. "The Seven Deadly Sins' Boar Sin Merlin!" Using her power Merlin was able to force Vivian into telling them where Elizabeth was being kept and with a snap of her fingers they were in front of the King's room.
"Where are we?" Meliodas asked.
"In front of my father's room." Margaret answered.
"I tried to teleport inside, only to be deflected. It appears to be my unworthy disciples handiwork."
"All right. Okay, everybody stay back!"
"Hold up, Captain."
"You're not getting into that room, Meliodas." (Y/n) said.
"It's the Perfect Cube. It's a spell from the Demon World able to deflect any kind of power. Regardless of the scope of that power." Merlin explained but all she had to do was open the door to break the spell.
"How did you erase the spell?"
"Absolute Cancel. I cut off both my disciple and the spell cast over the room."
"You're just as amazing as ever Merlin." (Y/n) complimented.
"Sir Meliodas, (y/n)!!"
"Yo."
"Elizabeth, you aren't hurt are you?" (Y/n) asked.
"No. I'm just happy you guys are alright. I was so worried."
"You sure got old, Bartra!" Meliodas said.
"You have changed at all."
"Guess not." Meliodas smiled while trying to grope (y/n)'s butt but she held his wrist and crushed it before he could. Then Dreyfus appeared standing at the door to the King's room.
"It's been a while since I last saw you too, Dreyfus."
"What the hell is going on here?"
"Hendrickson has been killed in battle. Without confessing to the crime he can never escape." Gilthunder said.
"I saw it happen. Ten years ago, the morning of the anniversary festival. You conspired with Hendrickson to murder Zaratras. Such an unspeakable site. And then, wrapped with overwhelming fear, I told Gil about it. But Vivian happen to be right there. She placed us each under guard, and we were forced to do her bidding." Margaret explained.
"I see. Well, she was pretty infatuated with Gilthunder even then."
"But now that the curse has been lifted by Meliodas." Dreyfus fell on his knees in defeat while also being consumed by a hint of guilt. Everything exposed right now was the truth and he knew it. He helped murder Grandmaster Zaratras.
"I've been defeated. Just as they told you, I conspired with Hendrickson, and killed Grandmaster Zaratras. At first, I was only jealous of my brother. But somewhere along the line it turned into hatred. I am sorry."
"But what does that have to do with what's going on now?" Meliodas asked.
"It's to start a Holy War."
"A want?" Arthur asked.
"It's a phrase from an ancient Britannian poem. His Majesty predicted that he would occur sometime soon." Merlin explained.
"But His Majesty ordered us to lay down our swords. I was planning to use the Holy War to lay to rest what happened 10 years ago. By annihilating the Seven Deadly Sins as our enemies in the Holy War, I would leave no one who knew the truth behind the incident. But... Hendrickson thought differently. After that incident from 10 years ago, Hendrickson changed. But I never suspected he was mad enough to plot the Demon race's resurrection. How did it come to this? All I ever wanted was to be a father that my son could be proud of."
"Griamore is alive." Elizabeth said. "He was told to guard my sister Veronica's remains. I'm sure he still is, now." Elizabeth's words brought tears to Dreyfus's eyes. His son was alive and he couldn't be happier.
"Dreyfus..." The king said standing over Dreyfus's body. "As of now, I'm relieving you of your post as Grandmaster. Until I hand down your sentence, wait in the dungeon."
"Yes, sire."
"I'll take him down there myself." Gilthunder offered and then the king suddenly coughed up blood and fell down leaning against his bed.
"Father!"
"I'll take a look." Merlin offered. By simply lifting her palm she was able to detect what was wrong. "He's weakened considerably. He needs treatment right away."
"Lady Merlin, please save my father!" Elizabeth begged.
"I also ask you to save him!"
"Yes, I'll do everything I can. But His Majesty can't rest easy here. I'd like to treat him in Camelot. Is that all right?"
"Neither of you has anything to worry about. Elizabeth, remember the vision I told you about."
"Vision?" Elizabeth repeated and the turned to look at Merlin. "A crimson boar?... Big Sister Margaret let's leave it to Lady Merlin!"
"Is you say so."
"Merlin, let me help you. I have healing powers." (Y/n) offered.
"No, it's alright. I can do this just fine. This isn't an injury, it's an illness so it won't be as easy to heal. Stay here."
"Alright."
"I don't know what's going on, but looks like everything's settled. And if that's the case, let's get-."
"Sir Meliodas!" Arthur interrupted. "You and I were brought together by a great twist of fate! As Camelot's grandmaster, I ask you for your help!"
"Sure thing."
"R-really?! The please come with me right-."
"If I'm ever in the mood. I've got to clean up this town, and there's the Boar Hat too. It's not happening anytime soon."
"Aww man." Arthur sighed.
"He got you good." Merlin giggled.
"What about you Merlin? You coming back to the Seven Deadly Sins?"
"If I'm ever in the mood."
"I can't believe I just got to see you again and I already have to go." Arthur said sadly.
"Hey, I'm sure we're going to see each other again and I'll try to come visit."
"Really?!" Arthur said now excited.
"Yeah." She smiled as he, Merlin, and the king's body began to glow.
"Bye (y/n)!" He smiled.
"U-um... Sir Meliodas, (y/n)... someday, are you really going to leave me?" Before anyone got a change to say anything else, half the castle fell apart and crumbled but luckily Elizabeth was saved by Meliodas. "What just happened?"
"Are you guys alright?" Margaret asked.
"It looks like someone is missing." (Y/n) said landing safely on the ground and then making her wings disappear.
"Yeah... Dreyfus is gone."
