Yuta had a pounding headache in the morning, he didn't sleep much because his back was killing him as he literally sat on the floor perched against the wall outside of Johnny's apartment to keep guard. He's feeling weaker than usual but knows he needs to gather all that he has to get through today, then maybe he can rest.
As soon as he stands to leave his phone rings it's Kun his private investigator in China.
"After doing some digging, it looks as if they have flown to New York. I don't know how but they must have figured out where their kids are hiding." Yuta pales, he was hoping Johnny's intuition was wrong.
"Ok thank you, can you run a trace on their credit cards to maybe see where they are staying?" Kuhn chuckles.
"Already on it, I should be able to have that to you in a few hours." Yuta hangs up shortly after, he doesn't want to leave his post but he has to go take care of this Jack situation. He calls Mark and asks him to send an officer to stand guard, then tells Johnny to inform Sicheng to stay inside the apartment for the rest of the day.
After checking the ID of the officer to make sure it matches with what Mark told him he reluctantly left.
Mark has already informed Taeyong and Ten about the exchange that will be taking place in just a matter of hours and as terrified as they are Ten especially is ready to do what he can to get those people free.
Johnny, in all honesty is not here anymore. He can't really focus on the situation because he can only think of Renjun. The poor boy is more than likely with his parents and they're doing god knows what to him. Johnny knows they were abusive, to the point where Renjun would rather go through horrible experiences to earn money just to get away from them, he knows it's a dire situation and he can only hope for the best but fear the worst.
When Yuta finally returns to his office the atmosphere was tense and awkward at the same time, nobody new what to say anymore. Everything was fucked up in everyone's lives, it seemed as though there was no silver lining.

"Taeyong, I'm sorry." Taeyong starts to shake his head to let him know he doesn't need to be but Ten wasn't having it.
"I am, now listen." He pauses and waits for a head nod from Taeyong.
"I'm sorry for leaving you, I just didn't want you to think I was using you. I'm happy that you must have forgiven me enough to be here with me. I really do love you so much, I just don't want to be a burden." Taeyong softly caresses his cheek.
"Ten, you could never be a burden. I know we haven't known each other that long but I love you. I want to take care of you when you need me and I want you to take care of me from time to time. It goes both ways. I don't need you to prove yourself, I just need you. I'm so scared though to be honest, I don't want to let you go today." He starts to cry, so Ten holds him.
"What if they hurt you again? It would kill me. It hurts me to see you hurt. What if the plans fail and they take you away from me again? I looked for you and couldn't find you, what if I can't find you again?" Ten continues to stroke his hair and hold him tight.
"I know things could go wrong but we just have to believe that they won't, we have to trust that Mark and Yuta know what they're doing." They continue to hold each other locked away in the apartment just the two of them.

"Johnny, I'm expecting you to keep looking into this Renjun situation, stay in touch with kun." Johnny just stares at him sadly.
"God damnit Johnny snap the fuck out of it. Now it's your turn to be strong, find him. Mark and I will handle this other situation.

When it's almost time for the meet up Yuta forces Taeyong to say goodbye and leave the office. They can't get caught with extra people or it will blow their cover. He decides to just hang out at the bar for a while and hope it ends quickly. Johnny gets a call from Kun and rushes out the door, calling the police on his way to where they think Renjun might be.
Mark and Yuta nod to each other before Yuta calls Jack.
"Ok Jack, I've had enough of this one I want more can we do this now?" Ten was listening around the corner, astonished at the cold tone in Yuta's voice. He sits himself down on the bed holding his knees to his chest feeling the urge to cry.
"Yes, give me the address. We will bring him along and you can show me more." After Jack gives him the address he texts it to Mark so he can forward it to the officers in waiting.
"Ok I'll see you in a half hour or so." Yuta nervously looks at Mark.
"It's now or never." He says heading in to get Ten.
They walk in complete silence as they head to the car, the car ride was filled with information about what was happening and what to do to keep safe.
"I'm sorry Ten. Don't take anything I do or say personal, but I may have to rough you up a little and talk in a degrading way but you need to not act surprised. Pretend like you're used to hearing stuff like that from me ok?" Ten nods, still nervous. He doesn't want to be in the clutches of these evil men again. He doesn't want to get beaten again but if it comes to getting the others out he will make a sacrifice. Yuta pulls up to the address and indeed it is a warehouse. Mark gets into character and gets out, happily going to Yuta's side of the car to drag him out like an excited boyfriend. Ten is just keeping his head down as Yuta forcefully pulls him from the car.
Jack walks out from hiding spot inside the warehouse observing the three. Yuta walks to the front of the other two shielding them as much as possible.
"So where are they? I have things to do at the club, and we still need to agree on the basic contracts for this arrangement." Jack nods suspiciously at him and it gives Yuta goosebumps. He turns to see if Mark saw the same thing and sees both him and Ten with a gun to their heads, he didn't hear the goons coming up behind him. Now he's terrified.
"What the fuck is this man? Get that gun away from my boyfriend. You have definitely crossed a line and I think our business is done." This causes Ten to tremble even more. If Yuta walks away from this they will definitely take him back if they don't kill him first.
"You see, I did some checking and I know that this man is in fact not your boyfriend, he's an undercover cop and..."
He pauses as they pull Taeyong tied up with tape over his mouth out of the warehouse behind him.
"Has been staying in your office all week, now I don't really know the circumstances with that but I do know it's not right. Now here's what I'm going to do.
I will let you live but you have to tell me which person to kill, because someone has to pay for your lies.
Maybe the slimy cop? Or the slave? Or maybe the slaves lover?"
Ten is struggling trying to get to Taeyong, if he's going to die he should at least do it trying to get to his love. Mark is silently crying as is Taeyong.
Yuta is shaking with fear and anger. All the thoughts running through his head are leading him to one thing, 'it's all my fault'.
"Fuck it! Kill me. It's my fault they're all here anyway Johnny can run my club, no one will notice. Just please let them go. All of them even him." He says pointing to Ten. Jack pretends to think it over.
"Ok deal, guys let them go. I'll take Mr Nakamoto inside and we'll teach him a lesson." He starts to drag Yuta before he stops midway.
"Taeyong please when I'm gone tell Sicheng that it was him, always him. I love him so much. Take care of each other." He says all this with tears flowing down his face.
Once inside the building the rest of the goons walk away leaving the three on the street, Mark quickly goes into action as the other two run to safety.
"I know you guys heard this where the fuck are you?" He screams into the mic taped to him, when he reaches the door the other officers finally make an appearance.
They rush the place only to find a beaten and bloody Yuta lying on the floor. They didn't waste time getting rid of him because they were loading the rest of their slaves onto a semi truck parked in back.
Mark dropped to his knees checking for signs of life and calling for an ambulance.
"I'm sorry Yuta, I should have done more. I don't deserve to be an officer. You were much braver than I, now please hang on until help comes. I want to return you to Sicheng."
Yuta's head lols to the side, barley able to focus on Mark.
"I want to see him at least once before I die." He cried finally showing his weakness.
Mark comforts him as much as he can by holding his hand and reassuring him that he will live.
"It's going to be ok, I see the ambulance here now ok, we will get you to the hospital and everything will be fine.
Just don't die on me."
