Just as I tried to get off the bed, I left an arm go around my waist. Vikram pulled me into his chest and brought his other arm to hold me in a secure position.
I tried to get out of his hold but, he was too strong for me. I needed him to think about himself before me.
"Vikram please. Can you take time to think about this, carefully?"
We were in a cuddling position. My head on his chest. I could hear his heart beat. It felt like there was a meaning behind the speed that his heart beat at. His arms wrapped around me. I felt safe in his warm arms. My body fit so perfectly into his, like a puzzle piece. I felt at peace. I gave up on trying escaping his hold.
I brought my arm around his stomach and let loose in the moment.
"I said, 'Would you like to be my girlfriend, Samaira?'"
I looked up at him just as he looked down on me.
I gave him a smile full of hope and received a grin that showed me trust. He kissed my forehead.
"Can we go out to eat now? I can't have my girlfriend starving." We both chuckled as we stood up.
"I'll see you in a little bit. All my stuff is upstairs and I need to shower."
"I brought all your stuff here to my room. The videographer wanted to shoot some scenes of the couple up there. And the stuff was just getting in his way. So I offered to steal you." He said with sexy grin.

After my shower, I dressed myself in black leggings, a long sleeved blue shirt, a black scarf and black leather boots.
I left my hair the way it was. It was still pretty much straightened from the day before. As long as it looked somewhat presentable, I was fine with it. I took a good look in the mirror. I had to do something about my dark eyes. I basically looked like an Indian panda bear since I had slept with my makeup on.
I pulled out my foundation, eyeliner and lip-gloss. Just a little makeup to make my skin look awake. I think I was ready.
Once I stepped out of the bathroom, I saw Vikram dressed in blue jeans and a red plait shirt.
"Hey are you ready?"
"Just got to find my phone and wallet and I'm ready. You?"
"Just been waiting for you."
Once I found my phone, we left the hotel and got a cab. We settled for a small pizza parlor then went down for a walk to the lake close by the parlor. Standing near the railing that covers the perimeter of the lake, we started making some conversation.
"You know this does not count as the date that you promised me."
"What date?"
He looked at me in sarcastic shock. "Huhhh? Tell me you're joking, please."
"What date? I don't recall being asked out on a date."
"Oh, I see how it is. Give me a minute to think of something."
I laughed at his attempt. "I'm just kidding. Please don't try anything here. We'll figure something out when we get back home."
"No no. I got this. I can make a good impression on the spot. I don't want you to think that I'm not a gentleman or can't impression my date. I wanna create a memorable thought about myself for whenever you think of me."
"Oh don't you worry. You've already created a remarkable impression."
I turned around, now facing the lake. There was something about the feeling.
