"come on jungkook, you seriously aren't thinking about going to that club alone are you?" taehyung asked to his friend.
"of course i wouldn't go alone, i'd bring you with me," jungkook said, nudging the brown haired male that sat across from him at the dining hall table.
"there's no way in hell that i'd go with you, you know that's not my thing..." taehyung said with a mumble, as he continued to pick at his food, not so impressed with jungkook's 'bad' choices.
"oh come on, it'd be fun!" jungkook said, his eyes growing wide with hope that taehyung might accept the offer.
"no, you and clubs? not a good combination. me there with you? an even worse one," he said, completely shooting down the idea.
the typical college lifestyle that you'd see in the books and movies, it wasn't his thing. however it was very much jungkook's. you could find him at a bar, at a club, at all the frat parties that you would never catch taehyung at.
and if you did happen to find him there, it was only because jungkook dragged him along. he would never willingly go.
"don't be so boring, live a little," jungkook said with a laugh, finishing up the sandwich in front of him.
"no thanks, your 'peer pressure' won't work," taehyung said with a laugh.
"i wasn't trying to pressure you... i just want to make sure you don't miss out on anything," jungkook replied.
"yeah, i really doubt i'm missing anything."
"well... you're my best friend and best friends should do best friend things together," jungkook said, mentally hyping up his own words.
"if it involves clubs, i'm out, of it involves alcohol i'm out, of it involves interaction with drugs or drug dealers, i'm out," taehyung said.
"please you drink, i've seen it, you don't have the alcohol tolerance of a newbie, so cut the crap," jungkook rolled his eyes.
"whatever..." taehyung said. "instead of trying to take me out, why don't you take lisa out? she seems to be checking you out lately..."
"what? no— i want to take you because you're my best friend, not her," jungkook sighed.
"can't we just play some video games together?"
"we play all the time."
"mario kart is so much fun."
"you aren't wrong."
taehyung laughed, slinging his book bag over his shoulder and getting up to throw his trash away. jungkook followed in the actions.
jungkook couldn't help but sigh at how much of a 'goody two shoes' taehyung was. or at least the way he acted like one. they were always on opposite ends of the spectrum. jungkook would be the one basking in praise of people, while taehyung would rather be on the side, minding his own business. but taehyung was always minding jungkook's. constantly he was concerned for him.
complete opposites, but they complimented each other well as friends.
however, there were times jungkook should be bowing at taehyung's feet for keeping him out of dangerous situations. one time jungkook left his drink on the counter top of a bar, big mistake. taehyung stopped him from drinking it immediately, as if his eyes could scan it and tell there was something wrong with it.
turns out someone had put a drug in it to try and knock the owner of the drink out. the person who did it was probably some creep originally thinking it was a drink of some 'young and dumb' female that he could lure in and do god knows what.
turns out jungkook was that 'young and dumb female' leaving his drink around and then proceeding to try and drink it.
that was a joke.
all jokes aside, jungkook never forgets to thank taehyung for saving his life that day. who knows, if jungkook had taken a sip of that contaminated drink, he could've been killed or victim to some human trafficking kind of thing. and that wouldn't be good for anyone.
no literally, jungkook has a tendency to complain and be annoying. he's constantly reminded of that by taehyung himself. he often says that even if jungkook got kidnapped that day, he wouldn't have to worry about anything because the kidnapper would be so fed up with jungkook's annoying antics that he'd just let him go.
now it was later in the day and jungkook didn't have a bottle of beer in his hand. yeah, unfortunately for him, he was still sober, and his bed was empty. courtesy of taehyung.
even if it annoyed him, he had to admit taehyung had a way of persuasion. he was usually able to get jungkook out of doing stupid things. sometimes jungkook would listen to it, but occasionally he feels rebellious.
in the end, jungkook decided against going to the club once he realized taehyung wouldn't go with him. that didn't stop him from wanting to use his precious friday night to his advantage. he wanted to go out somewhere, even if it wasn't a club or bar.
"what if we went to an arcade?" jungkook asked.
"you seriously want to go to an arcade?" taehyung sighed, rolling off the couch, hitting the hardwood apartment floor with a thud. he wasn't hurt, he did it on purpose after all.
"i wanted to go to the club and get laid but you were against that idea so yeah," jungkook rolled his eyes. taehyung slapped the back of his head.
"there's more to this life than alcohol and getting fucked up kid, enjoy it would you?"
jungkook rubbed his head in pain, while taehyung spoke. to be honest, the words went in one ear and out the other. he completely disregarded the elder's words.
"i'm trying to enjoy it, the way i enjoy it is with my dick in some— or someone else's in me—" he was cut off my taehyung's hand colliding with his head once again.
"would you stop? i'm gonna get brain damage," jungkook groaned.
"as if you don't have that already," taehyung laughed, ruffling jungkook's blonde hair. "alright kid, let's go to the arcade then."
