taehyung sat in the well lit room of his shared apartment with jungkook. the younger was out to god knows where, so it was the perfect time to have some acquaintances over to discuss few things.

"jin... hoseok... i really... need your help," taehyung said with pleading blue eyes. "my friendship with jungkook is in danger... but more importantly jungkook himself in in danger..." he said to the two other angels in the building.

"and you need us for what exactly?" jin asked while confusion settled on his face. hoseok stayed silent.

"i already alerted the holy council about it, so i thought you would know... but they haven't decided on what they're going to do yet... one thing they mentioned was..." taehyung's voice trailed, but everyone in the room knew what he was about to say.

"they might cast him out..." jin mumbled in disbelief.

"wait but if that happens—"

"jungkook becomes victim to evil, he has no where else to go but except to the devil," jin said.

taehyung and hoseok exchanged glances.

"why did you tell the council in the first place?" hoseok asked.

"we're angels, and me of all— i'm jungkook's assigned guardian angel. what am i supposed to do when he completely disregards my advice? he's half angel, yet he acts more like a demon," taehyung mumbled the last sentence.

"it's in our angelic nature hoseok... we can't lie, especially to the council, we are... created to filter the bad things in the world right? lies are one of those things..." jin tried to explain. hoseok nodded in understanding.

"so how can we save jungkook from falling? or getting cast out..." hoseok asked.

"i need your help to watch over him... he won't listen to me, but we've gotten so close that he sees me as an equal, but you guys would be considered a higher status than him... maybe he'll listen," taehyung said.

"i don't know... i love the kid and i want him to succeed but... we can't change whatever fate the council decides for him," jin said. "you know well that i can't do that and i can't pull strings for you as a member of the council, i'm speaking to you as a friend

"he's right you know..." hoseok said apologetically.

"i know he's right but i want to try... there's hope for him, he can't learn from his mistakes in such an early stage of his being... we just need to get... the demon away from him...." he said under his breath.

the moment jungkook came in contact with jimin, taehyung's suspicions arose. the piercing red eyes and menacing aura gave away his identity easily. but jungkook became attached too quickly. he fell too hard. he became so attached that he forgot his purpose on earth. jimin's charms made it easy to forget. or maybe, jungkook was willingly falling a little harder the more time they spent together.

whatever the reason, it didn't matter to taehyung. all he cared about was keeping jungkook safe and ridding his life of all bad influences. the demon included, the demon specifically. jin's phone began to ring in his pocket. the other two exchanged confused looks while jin stepped out of the apartment to take the call.

"i wonder who it was..." hoseok said, watching from the balcony glass door as jin was walking out onto the side walk.

"no idea..."

"do you really think jungkook will get cast out of heaven?" hoseok asked abruptly.

"as much as i don't want to, if we don't get jimin out of his life, he just might be... we have to do something quickly," taehyung said, hoseok nodded in agreement.

"what do you suggest?"

"demons are hard to catch to be honest, they are like... war machines, speed and strength... we have to rely on their weaknesses in holy items to catch them," taehyung said, he got up and went to another room. it was like an office room. there was desk with many papers sprawled out, and a bookshelf full of historical books and science.

"demonology..." hoseok said.

"most angels that reside on earth have one," taehyung said. "your work is in heaven, so it's fine that you haven't seen it, but you can look through and see what items are accessible to us."

hoseok took the book and flipped through the pages. his eyes scanned over every word. taehyung took out his phone and texted jungkook, asking what the younger was up to.

"any blessed item will do, but some are more powerful than other depending on the demon, some even work on the devil himself," hoseok mumbled as his eyes kept gazing at the words on pictures on each page.

"for example blessed salt," hoseok continued. "if you make simple lines with the salt, then it can stop demons from entering or exiting wherever you put it, it's a tactic used to block them in because it also nullifies their powers," taehyung nodded to understand.

"crosses are a holy item... usually seen in the churches but they're mainly used for possession to draw out any demons... did this demon guy possess jungkook?"

"i don't think so, god i'd kill him if he did— i think they're just in some kind of... relationship..." taehyung tried to explain, even though he wasn't fully aware of their 'status.'

"i see... well they can also be used to make the demons weak, it's like a vampire to the sunlight... another thing that can harm demons is... hell fire, although it harms anyone and can only be found in hell, i don't want to take a trip there," hoseok said with a small, almost nervous laugh.

taehyung shook his head slowly, not wanting to go to such cursed places either. he checked his phone while hoseok rambled on about holy objects or blessed objects. jungkook hadn't replied in the ten minutes it's been since he texted the angel. his mind could only go to the worst. either he was engaging in 'activities' with his demon friend or he could be in trouble, but maybe it was neither of those and jungkook was okay. the guardian tried to put the thoughts to rest, but it was only natural as the angel was dedicated to protecting the half angel.

the two angels heard the sound of a door opening and closing. jin has returned from his phone call, his face looking a little down. the handsome male was looking somewhat upset.

"jin? are you okay?" taehyung asked, rushing to the older.

"it's... jungkook..." jin said, his voice shaking slightly.

"what? what happened?" hoseok asked.

"why'd they call you..?" taehyung asked it was odd, the fact that the council would've called him over himself.

"i'm not sure why they called me rather than you or even just summoning is to heaven..." jin sighed. "but it wasn't good news."

"what was it..?"

"jungkook's been cast out."
