"alright yoongi what do you want?"
namjoon had come over to jimin and yoongi's apartment at the request of the raven haired demon. yoongi was pacing around the living room area, trying to come up with some kind of plan.
"jimin... yesterday he started hanging around..." yoongi's voice trailed, giving himself the opportunity to search for the right words. he didn't want to say more than he needed to. "they were very different... i suspect angels," yoongi finished after a brief, silent moment. his foot lightly tapped against the hardwood floors below him.
"angels? does jimin know?" namjoon asked.
"well i never brought the suspicion up to him... we got in a small argument— but beside that, something is off about one of them," yoongi attempted to explain.
"okay? like what?"
"one has an aura that i can definitely recognize... he's look very 'angelic' also had blue eyes and dark hair... but the other... is so plain, like a spell or mask, but not that exactly..."
"his appearance?"
"blonde hair, dark eyes?" yoongi said, as if asking himself about what jungkook looked like. it's not like it was difficult to remember. his face was pictured in his mind. "the thing is that i couldn't sense him as easily as i could the other, but i know for sure it's angelic energy."
"maybe that's why jimin doesn't know?" namjoon asked. he was trying to make sense of everything yoongi said. he was the type to be skeptical of people, but he usually trusted his own kind. he simply assumed jimin had the 'tools' he needed to decipher right and wrong... at least the right and wrong in their world.
"i think he's just ignorant," yoongi said plainly. "there is no way—"
"let me stop you there, it may not be ignorance," namjoon began. "remember, jimin was only sent here a month or so ago, we can't expect as much from him as we can for ourselves."
"but still—"
"no, it's the truth no matter what you try to rebuttal it with, jimin will become aware the same way we all did..." the other explained, his voice becoming smaller as he spoke the last words. yoongi's expression darkened at the words, knowing what namjoon meant by them. they were words that he feared, ones that he didn't want namjoon to speak.
"that's what i'm scared of, i'm scared jimin will end up going through what we all had to go through, i'm trying to teach him, i want to avoid it if i can," yoongi sighed, his hand brushed through his hair. "we all made our mistakes, we should be trying to help those that come after us to not make the same ones or ones that will give them the same fate," yoongi flopped onto the couch, suddenly out of ideas and words to speak.
"listen... just like you said, we all had to go through it, one day, jimin will too," namjoon said, letting the thought linger before continuing. "especially if he goes on like this... if he ends up 'engaging' with an angel... you know sexually, romantically, or in any friendly manner... if the devil hears about it, jimin's head will be on a silver plate and his body would be rotting in the lake of fire. you know how the devil sees everything."
there was nothing worse than the harshest punishments the devil could give. sure, there were spiked whips, or batons of fire, and yes they hurt. but nothing, nothing hurt like being pushed into hellfire. the deadly flames that roar in the very pit of hell. some know them as hell's water, the lake of hell. but once you're drowning in them yourself, you see nothing but fire. it's like swimming through flames and burning lava, while the surface mocks you for being safe from the dreaded waters. the lake of fire.
it was worse than death. after death, you feel nothing. in hell's lake, you could only wish you were dead. but it wouldn't kill you, no, it'll just make you suffer until you reach the air above. you'll be gasping for air in the water but the moment you open your mouth, the water will enter, burning your insides. but escaping it is far from impossible. even then, you'll still be soaked with the acidic waters. it'll continue to burn even once you're out.
"i'm sure we can, but ultimately, jimin will have to learn on his own whether he follows us or not, the best we can do for now is maybe try and stop him from coming into contact with these suspected angels," namjoon said. yoongi nodded in agreement.
"the thing is... jimin thinks he's a human, he's trying to manipulate a 'human' but he doesn't realize that it won't work because he's an angel," yoongi said.
he wanted to make namjoon aware of all the details so he could to help the other understand the situation. there was a lot at stake. even yoongi was risking a lot by trying to help jimin. he was already too far gone, yoongi was just following him in hopes to keep the younger safe.
"we'll just have to tell him like it is, no sense in dragging out useless information. we can make him aware of what can happen to him, even if it means getting a sample of hellfire—" namjoon began, but was interrupted by a quick voice.
"and if he doesn't listen?"
"we tell the man downstairs."
