jimin stumbled as his teleportation landed him in his apartment complex. his skin burned and the wet clothes from his body didn't do much to help at all. he dragged his feet along, ignoring the stares of random concerned people that happened to live within the same building. he only cared for one concerned person: jeon jungkook. he almost forgot that he left the younger in the bar and was immediately ready to fall to his knees and beg forgiveness.

"where did you..." jimin mumbled, as his eyes caught sight of the younger.

"i was waiting for you... jimin what the..." jungkook mumbled. he saw the cuts, the bruises, and how the fires affected his skin. he was about to hold jimin hand's when he quickly tore it away before they could make contact.

"don't... don't touch me... it won't be good for either of us..." jimin said, painfully walking up the steps up to his apartment, trailing small drops of the water on the way up.

jungkook frowned to watch jimin in so much pain. all this pain he caused, even though jimin wouldn't admit that. truly it was jungkook's fault or at least he was part of the reason. he knew just as much as jimin did when getting into it, if not more. surely jungkook knew more.

he followed jimin up the steps, silently. he assumed the older would tell him what happened in his own time. from looking at the demon, jungkook had a very good idea of what happened that he hardly needed to jimin to explain. jimin entered the apartment, limping to his room, and taking his clothes off as quickly as he could.

"jungkook?" jimin yelled from his room.

"yeah?" he yelled back.

"can you uh... well one can you hand me a towel? and two can you start a cold shower?"

"a cold sho—?" jungkook began mumbling to himself. "yeah sure," jungkook said. he retrieved the item, handing the towel to jimin through the small opening in his door, then went off to the bathroom to start the shower like jimin asked.

jimin stepped out of his room with nothing but a towel around his waist. it wasn't anything jungkook hadn't seen before, so neither of them were embarrassed by it.

"have i ever told you how hot you are?" jungkook asked jokingly. jimin rolled his eyes as he entered the bathroom.

"thanks or whatever..." he replied jokingly. "make yourself at home, snacks, beer, the tv, have whatever you want... i gotta wash all this out, i'll be a while."

"yeah sure, take your time," jungkook said. jimin smiled and stepped into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.

he let out a sigh and looked in the mirror. he definitely looked pale. the cuts in his arms were covered in red from the blood. there were small cuts that were originally from when the devil had thrown him around. they became deeper after entering the fire. definitely will be leaving scars. he turned his upper body around as much as bodily restrictions would allow him, seeing a large cut running diagonally across his back. that was gonna hurt like hell.

he let the towel fall to the ground and stepped into the cold water. he let it soak his entire body, despite the great amount of pain it put him in. he had to do it to wash out the excess water that remained deep in his wounds. or else it would continue to eat away at him, slowly. no matter how long it's been, if he didn't wash himself thoroughly, it would end up killing him and it would be a slow painful death.

he finished his hair, attempted to rinse out his cuts, especially the slightly gaping one on his back. he couldn't tell if he was crying from the pain or if the supposed tears were from the water of the shower. though it could've been a mix of both.
