the sun beamed through the curtains. the slight warmth caused jimin to wake up, realizing it was about time to do so. his body felt sore and stiff. he was too tired to realize why. until he looked at the bed next to him. the sleeping jungkook gave away everything jimin forgot about. he smiled at the hickeys that decorated jungkook's skin. he deemed them works of art, some of his best work he's ever done to someone. but then he remembered a little more. the burning he felt all throughout his body last night, he was feeling the remnants of that the next morning.
jimin's skin crawled with this feeling of faint burning. he realized he went too far, past jungkook's limits, past his own. it was a larger amount of pleasure and contact, too much for them to handle at once. there was more blood dried across his skin. who's blood it was? he wasn't even sure at this point. and jungkook was probably going to wake up feeling the same thing.
he sighed, crawling out of the bed, throwing on some boxers and a pair of sweatpants. he was gonna shower anyway, but sometime after jungkook got up. he looked at the blonde, still sleeping in his bed, his breathing was small, somewhat shallow. he tore his eyes away once he heard a small buzzing sound coming from the nightstand. his phone.
he slowly walked over to the noise, picking up his phone to realize he was getting a phone call.
"yoongi..?" jimin mumbled to himself. "hello?" he said upon picking it up.
"you're in deep shit."
"what are you talking about?" jimin asked quietly, watching jungkook to make sure he wasn't being too loud to wake him up.
"you know exactly what i'm talking about," yoongi said, his voice sounded angry and very, very annoyed.
"i don't," jimin's tone began to darken, just as yoongi's had.
"you can play dumb with me all you want, but you can't do that shit when it comes to the devil," jimin's eyes widened at yoongi's words.
"what do you mean?"
"the big man's been keeping tabs on you pretty boy, he knows everything and i mean everything, from when you met that kid a few days ago to whatever you did last night," yoongi said in response.
jimin's eyes widened slightly, but he still remained calm and composed. his facial expression showed little to no concern, but his insides were shaking.
"you fucking snitch-- you told him didn't--"
"let me stop you there," yoongi confidently interjected. "i didn't tell anyone shit, i don't know about you, but i'm loyal to my own kind, and don't even consider namjoon, cause he's been with me the whole time."
"then who the hell.."
"don't ask me, i have no idea who ratted you out or how they did it, we already know that the devil knows everything," yoongi said.
jimin sighed.
"well this fucking sucks," his voice was raising slightly, causing jungkook to shift. "ah damn it," jimin mumbled realizing he had woken jungkook up.
"good morning?" jungkook mumbled tiredly, his half asleep eyes gazing upon jimin. he nodded in the tired male's direction, but couldn't speak much while he was still on the phone.
"look, i called to tell you that you've got a meeting and you better not be late or that's another punishment to add onto your collected sins," yoongi said.
"i'm a demon, i'm meant to sin, what's the point of having us if we can't sin ourselves?" jimin said, sitting at the edge of the bed by jungkook. he gently held his hand, rubbing the soft skin with his thumb, while jungkook looked at him with a concerned expression.
"there's rules to regulate sin, even for us, we aren't meant to break them, you know? your skin burning? your lip splitting and bleeding? those are part of the regulations to know when you're going too far with forces you shouldn't," yoongi sighed. jimin winced, not in pain but in his own stupidity. he wasn't being told anything he didn't know. being reminded of it hurt his pride.
"you wanted to be the big boy and mess with what you clearly didn't understand," yoongi said in a scolding tone. "the signs were there and you reckoned with them, this is your fault."
"oh my god..." jimin mumbled in all his frustrations. "why am i praying to some god..." he said in low, barely audible tone.
"trust me, god is very much real and he is not on your side, it's too late to start praying to him now."
"whatever... when is this?" jimin looked over at jungkook, who still looked ocnufed as ever, he could only hear bits of the conversation, only from what jimin was saying. but he was still too tired to piece it together, plus he was going through the pain jimin went through upon waking up.
"tomorrow night, midnight, do not be late, or you'll wish you were dead. get serious, or you'll die before you have the chance to live," yoongi said, ending the call, leaving jimin with a new weight on his shoulders: the weight of his mistakes.
"what was that?" jungkook asked.
"we fucked up..." jimin shook his head, realizing error in his words. "i fucked up, i fucked up really bad, and someone's not too happy with it."
"what do you mean?" jungkook said, pulling his hands away from jimin and sitting up in the bed. he rubbed his eyes, hoping it would wake him up more.
jimin rubbed the back of his neck, not sure of how much he could reveal. jungkook might be aware of what he was, and vice versa, but how much was he allowed to say before it would end in his punishment?
"well..." jimin sighed, looking out the windows as if it contained the answer for him. his eyes travelled anywhere but towards jungkook, avoiding the stare of the angel.
"let me put it like this... we have jobs you and i... and there are rules, i don't know how the rules work in your workplace, but i know how they work for me and i completely ignored it," he looked over at jungkook, who still, because of the tiredness in his system, along with the painful sensations in his body, didn't understand what the hell jimin was talking about.
jimin pulled the angel into a warm embrace, sighing softly against his skin as he nuzzled his head into the crook of jungkook's neck.
"if that didn't make sense then let me say this...
i am so fucking screwed."
