it was the next day. the day jimin and jungkook agreed to meet each other once again. to jimin's gratefulness, yoongi wasn't aware of his plans to head out and meet with jungkook. he wouldn't even bother telling him, knowing that the older would be against it as soon as he spoke.
jimin fixed his appearance. his ears were filled the the silver studded and chain earrings, a dog tag chain necklace with some writings engraved on it rested around his neck. his red hair was parted to the side, really he just ran his hair through it and called it a style.
he wore faded, ripped, blue skinny jeans, some black combat boots with a loose, stripped, long sleeved shirt. he threw his black leather jacket over it to complete the look.
he grabbed his car keys and began to exit the apartment. he surely could've just warped there, but it would be difficult to come up with a lie as to how he got to this part of the city so late and on time.
"where are you going?" yoongi called, emerging from his room. he looked like he had just woken up from a nap.
"out, i'm meeting with someone," jimin said, turning to his sleepy, raven haired friend.
"who are you meeting with?"
"is it your job to know every aspect of my damn life?"
"seeing as the devil put us together, yes, yes it is," yoong said sarcastically, folding his arms over his chest. jimin rolled his eyes to the older.
"whatever, i'm meeting with namjoon, bye," jimin said, quickly shutting the door behind him and leaving down the hallway to the elevator.
"fucking liar..." yoongi mumbled pulling out his phone from the pocket of his sweatpants.
his put in a contact and put the phone to his ear. it rang a few times before a voice could be a herd on the other end.
"hello?"
"namjoon, i need your help."
jimin was finally on his way to the arcade. no yoongi and nothing else to distract him from getting to his destination.
he listened to music on a low volume as he drove, humming along quietly with the tune. he came to a stop light and glanced at his phone to check the time.
7:55 pm.
he was on time. he pulled up to the arcade and parallel parked his car next to the sidewalk. he stepped out on the smooth cement to be met with a gentle city breeze. he inhaled the fresh air for a moment before entering the arcade.
it was pretty crowded this saturday night, more so than it was yesterday. people of all ages were crowded around the large variety of games. some were crowded around the tables, eating food they ordered from the concessions stand in the arcade.
"big crowd..." jimin mumbled to himself as he cautiously walked through. he remembered what yoongi had said about being aware and alert of who or what's around him.
his eyes scanned through the people, seeing if anyone looked out of the ordinary. if there was anyone in particular that he should watch out for.
it was almost unfair. a demon's appearance alone is a dead giveaway to what they are. the red eyes could only be hidden by strongly colored contacts. even if demon's used contacts, it would only last for about an hour before it started irritating their eyes.
however angels, could look any way. some might have blue, green, or maybe even brown or purple colored eyes. purple was the only unnatural color of those, but even purple irises are rare on angels.
the guard he held so highly immediately fell once his eyes rested upon the one he was looking for. there he was. the jungkook he met the other night.
the blonde male was sat at one of the tables, sipping on a thick, fruit drink, while absentmindedly scrolling through his phone. jimin smiled and walked up to him, pulling a chair out so he can sit.
"hey there, hope i'm not too late," he said with a smile.
"hey jimin! you aren't late at all, do you want a smoothie?" jungkook asked.
"no no it's fine, are they good though?"
jungkook looked at his own smoothie for a second, as if it would give him an answer. he pushed the cup across the small table to jimin.
"try it."
jimin picked up the cold cup, staring at the purpley-pinkish drink for a minute, like it was a concoction of everything that could kill him. he put his lips to the straw, sipping through it cautiously. his eyes widened slightly at the taste of it. he took the straw away from his mouth, savoring the sweet and tangy mixtures of berry flavors. he passed the cup back to jungkook.
"i might have to get one of those before we leave," jimin said with a laugh.
"you never had a smoothie before?"
jimin shook his head.
"damn, you've missed out and for so long too!" jungkook said with a laugh, as his dark eyes made contact with jimin's.
"you still have them on," jungkook said.
"huh? oh yeah..." jimin said, subconsciously looking away from jungkook's gaze. "i keep them on, i like them, especially with the red hair," jimin laughed at his own lie, but jungkook of course didn't know he was lying.
"do you sleep with them on? doesn't that hurt your eyes?" jungkook asked, curiously as he continuing sipping his drink.
"eh... i don't really sleep with them on..." jimin added onto his lie, figuring it was the best he could do. it's not like he was gonna reveal himself to jungkook or anything. that would definitely earn him a meeting in hell.
"anyway... should we play some games?"
