jimin teleported away, into the car that is. yoongi would've killed him if he left his car at the arcade. he was originally just gonna go back to the apartment but... he forgot about how he got there.he eventually reached the apartment after the drive. at this point, he was forcing himself to get up and walk forwards. he really just wanted to lay on his bed and stare up at the ceiling like most would do in times like this.
he fumbled to get his apartment keys to unlock the door, but it was already unlocked.
"i guess yoongi's home..." he mumbled to himself. he opened the door to be met with two pair of eyes staring him down.
"what's... going on here..?" jimin asked as he cautiously stepped into the apartment. his own eyes were flickering back and forth between the two red eyes before him.
namjoon and yoongi looked at each other, like they were silently communicating through the way their eyes moved. namjoon nodded as if giving yoongi permission to speak. jimin could only raise his eyebrow at strange actions. yoongi squinted his eyes, noticing the remains of dried blood on jimin's lips. he looked over at namjoon, still keeping silent. it was like their eyes were having the conversation instead.
"what the hell?" jimin asked, frustrated that no one was explaining to him.
"what's on your lips?" yoongi asked bluntly.
"i got into a--" jimin began but was immediately cut off.
"so there's the lie, now tell us what really happened," yoongi said, standing from the couch, crossing his arms.
"none of your damn business..." jimin muttered.
"you little..." yoongi would've thrown a punch of it wasn't for namjoon to intervene with the simple raise of his hand.
"don't yoongi," he said sternly. "jimin..." he turned to the red haired demon.
"what?"
"we pretty much already know what's going on... you might as well just explain it yourself," namjoon said. the words made jimin feel so small, like he was cornered and couldn't escape. his shaking eyes met yoongi's then turned to namjoon.
"fine..." he mumbled walking past the two and to the kitchen.
"what the fuck are you doing? explain yourself you li--" yoongi began, but was cut off again.
"yoongi please," namjoon said, his voice a little more intense.
jimin rolled his eyes and opened the fridge, pulling out a beer bottle. he twisted the cap off, crushing the small metal with his hands, turning it to dust that he released into the air around them. he took a sip of the beer, as the other two silently watched his every move.
"so you know about jungkook then?"
"we had a feeling..." namjoon admitted. "actually yoongi did, i haven't even met this guy but yoongi told me everything."
"uh huh..." jimin said, taunting around, leaning against a nearby wall. "i tried tempting him... thinking he was a human, but when i actually went for it... this happened," jimin said, pointing to the cut on his lips that formed from the shock he experienced.
"so you were right about this guy being an angel," namjoon nodded towards yoongi, who's face only looked amused, yet thoughtful.
"i don't think so exactly," jimin interjected, his gaze only meeting the floor.
"you're lip got split in half from an unholy light, what do you mean not exactly?" yoongi asked in an angry mumbling tone.
"this might look bad, but the pain wasn't as intense as i expected it to be, it was bearable, but we were so in the moment that it felt like more than it was... however he didn't seem bothered at all," jimin explained.
"that makes sense, if you aren't expecting something, it'll be worse than if you did expect it, i'm sure if jimin tried to kiss him again, knowing it would hurt him, it wouldn't hurt as bad," namjoon said in agreement, jimin nodded along.
"so what are you getting at?" yoongi asked in suspicion.
"do half angels exist?" jimin asked.
namjoon and yoongi looked at each other in confusion.
"no?" yoongi said. "angels are made by the holy council, if they could perfect whole angels why make half angels?"
"well, what if he wasn't a perfect one?" jimin said.
"the holy council doesn't fuck up--" yoongi began.
"hmm, but what if they did? does it not make sense?" jimin said, looking over at namjoon, holding the elder would agree with him.
"no it does... maybe jungkook got messed up while he was being created, it would explain how you were easily able to persuade him?"namjoon said.
"exactly! angel's don't really get tempted... and if they do it's because they're guardian angels of a human or something... right?" jimin looked over at yoongi for confirmation.
"right... because the guardians have to go with the human..." yoongi mumbled. "that would also explain why jungkook's presence wasn't as strong as that other guy's..."
"but if jungkook is half angel, what's his other half?"
"definitely not a demon, he has zero demonic traits," yoongi said.
"so human," namjoon concluded. "or some other figure that we don't know exactly."
"i guess..." jimin said. "does he even know he an angel-- or at least part angel is my question."
"what do you mean?"
"when we first met, he asked about my eyes, if they were contacts, i didn't think much of it, but i began to wonder if he meant the question or if he was trying to lure me in, to capture me..." jimin mumbled.
"i wouldn't use that as concrete evidence until we find more that points toward this, but it's definitely not something to forget," namjoon said.
"can we also... keep this from the big man?" jimin asked quietly.
it wasn't his fault he ended up messing with an angel. it was strictly forbidden, but how could jimin know the 'human' he was going after happened to be half angel? how unlucky could he get?
he feared the punishment that could come his way if this got into the wrong ears.
"we'll keep you safe, jimin... or we'll try."
but the devil sees everything.
