jimin met yoongi outside, his facial expressions way less than amused. he stuffed his hands in the pockets of his black leather jacket, letting his anger flush through him.
"what the hell is wrong with you?" jimin asked in a raised tone, approaching the curb yoongi sat on.
"be careful about the way you throw hell around like that, the human race already does it enough," yoongi said sarcastically. he was basically sitting on the cement curb of the busy city street. he was gazing at the cars and traffic lights and passed along, only trying to waste the time away.
jimin only scoffed, stepping next to yoongi, staying in his standing position.
"that doesn't explain why you acted up so much back there," jimin rolled his eyes. his anger somewhat settled at yoongi's initial laid back response. he was ready for the screaming, for hands to be thrown, for the actual fight. but it never came.
"i was the one acting up? you're the one who wanted to stay and flirt with that... kid," yoongi spat.
"what do you have against him? i've never even seen him until now, what'd he ever do to you?"
"are you telling me you care about him?" yoongi said, looking up at the red haired male.
"no, i don't care about him, i just wanted to mess around with him, but you messed up my chances to even do that," jimin let out a deep sigh.
"excuse me— we might be here to make humanity fall, but not at the risk of our own safety. did you even feel it?" yoongi said, standing up, facing the other male.
"no, i didn't feel anything, which is why i don't believe this bullshit—"
"exactly! cause you were so caught off guard that you couldn't feel the air shifting, that, park jimin, is gonna get you killed one day, i hope your ignorance becomes your downfall," yoongi said, turning and walking away.
jimin stood there in confusion for a moment before going after the other. the words shocked him.
"are you saying you want me to die?" jimin asked, as he walked behind yoongi.
"i'm not saying that at all, i'm saying that if you died, i hope it was because of all the signs you ignored and the signs you continue to ignore. that will get you a visit to hell," yoongi said, not even taking the time to face jimin as he spoke anymore.
the thought of meeting with the devil was not a happy thought. the devil was... well he the devil, the overseer of hell. meeting with the devil could result in one of two things, you could leave unscathed, or be bathed in the hell's fire.
"stop that or i'll get anxious..." jimin mumbled. his voice was shy and bordering on the edge of shakiness.
"you should be anxious," yoongi said plainly. "you should fear what happens in hell. you know why the expression is always fear of god or fear of men? you know why there's not fear of the devil? because those of us who have to visit hell are too scared to tell the tale."
"i thought god was more powerful than the devil this whole time," jimin said.
"trust me, he is... that's a different story though, the point is, it doesn't matter who wins the testament of power..." yoongi said with a sigh. "i only said all that so you'll be more careful, take this demon thing seriously... you gotta be aware and alert."
yoongi patted jimin's back, noticing the discouraged, angry look that fell upon jimin's face.
"yeah... whatever," jimin said, as he disappeared into a cloud of black and red smoke, black and red sand falling to the ground as remnants.
"this kid is gonna get himself killed..." yoongi said, disappearing the same way.
back at the arcade, jungkook was searching around for taehyung. despite that, his thoughts were still overwhelmed with jimin.
his red eyes, his red hair, it was so enticing, so tempting.
being a demon, they cause people to sin. ever heard of the the seven sins? envy, gluttony, greed, lust, pride, sloth, and wrath. the devil's handcrafted demons are the embodiments of these sins. they are all the sins combined into one being. and the devil's made many.
some demons are created to have a sin that particularly stands out. like jimin. once jungkook came in contact with him, his lustful, greedy charms began swelling inside the blonde.
they were subtle, but they were there. yet, the demons could pull on any string of sin they wanted to.
of course jungkook didn't know what he was getting into. he didn't recognize that the red eyes were in fact natural and not contacts. that was all part of jimin and yoongi's demonic charm.
"taehyung!" he said, running up to the familiar brunette. he was coming from a snack stand within the arcade. he had soda bottles and soft pretzels in his hands, as he approached jungkook.
"oh hey... sorry i took so long... i had something to take care of... here's a pretzel," he said with a laugh, handing jungkook the salty snack.
"this makes up for it," jungkook said, munching on the pretzel. taehyung smiled and did the same, but began looking around the arcade.
he looked like he was concerned, or scared in a way. no, not scared, his expression just seemed very antsy.
"what's the matter?" jungkook asked, with his mouth half full of pretzel.
"do you know if those guys are still here?"
"eh?"
"the one you played the game with?"
"oh yeah... his name was jimin, he and his friend left... they seemed like they were in a rush," jungkook said, sadly.
"ah," taehyung said, nodding as the sound flowed from his mouth.
"why? did you want to talk to him? or them?" jungkook asked.
"oh no, i was just curious, i thought you'd might end up leaving with them," taehyung said with a small laugh.
"no way! you think i'm that stupid to leave here with someone i know nothing about?"
"you'd be surprised."
"you have such little faith in me," jungkook pouted.
"my goodness, just eat your pretzel, let's get out of here."
