"i'm what?" jungkook asked to the voice in the other line.
"i'm saying this directly from the council, you know my status, this is a message from us," jin replied. a hint of sadness was displayed in your voice. "the whole reason i'm on earth is to retrieve you and bring you to heaven... that and a meeting that i just finished up with taehyung and hoseok... you need to come back with me now."
"you met with taehyung and hoseok? what is this about...? why?"
"you'll find out when we get there? i would appreciate that you just comply... it'll make it a lot easier, jungkook..." jin mumbled.
yes, jin was a member of the holy council of angels. they were basically the messengers of god, the second overseers of heaven, while god was the first. the council was the buffer between god himself and the angels he created. they were basically the commanders of the 'angel army.' they called most of the shots concerning them.
"okay..?" jungkook said confused. but he had an idea what was coming. he didn't even care to brace himself for not. was he going to break down and cry? would be get in his knees and beg forgiveness? was he gonna die? be struck down by lightning? or would he simply accept the fate handed to him?
"when?" he asked.
"now," jin replied, ending their call. jungkook took the phone away from his ear and stared at the black screen for a moment before sighed.
"what was that?" jimin asked.
jungkook gently bite his bottom lip in a slight nervousness that settled upon him once he hung up the call. "remember how i talked about not getting a punishment?" jungkook said, his eyes staring into random space.
"yeah..?"
"i think punishment is closer than i thought..."
it had been about an hour since the phone call with jin. but jin still hasn't arrived at the apartment. jungkook was getting himself ready, he took the button up shirt he was wearing and tucked it inside his black jeans. he made sure his appearance was presentable with whatever time he had.
in the meantime, jimin has put some sweatpants on, just so he wasn't basically naked in case some angel busted into his apartment. but then there was a knock at the door while jungkook was fixing his hair.
"i got it for you kook..." jimin said, quickly throwing a t shirt on and heading to the door.
he twisted the knob and pulled the door open, revealing three people behind it. jimin recognized the one from the day at the arcade, the other two were unknown to his eyes.
"how may i help you..?" jimin asked.
"we know jungkook is here, so don't try to get in the way, we don't want problems right now," a blonde haired male said. "let me introduce us... my name is jin, i am a member of the holy council, this is hoseok, and this is taehyung," he said gesturing to the others, jin held out a hand for jimin to take.
taehyung's gaze met jimin for a only a small second.
"i'm jimin..." he said cautiously, shaking jin's hand. "ah—" he said in pain, as jin shook the hand with the bandage around it. it wasn't completely healed from when jungkook fixed it yet, it was a pretty large cut anyway.
"my apologies," jin said right away. "that bandage doesn't look too nice, didn't mean to hurt you," he said with a small smile. "maybe we step in? we'll take what we need and go."
"it's like you're trying to rob me..." jimin said with a light hearted laugh, opening the door a little oder as they stepped in. "but yeah come in..."
"ah, in a way i guess we are, we're only here for jungkook," jin said. it seemed like he was the spokesperson of the three, or maybe he was used to talking so eloquently. the others remained silent, looking around the well kempt apartment.
jungkook stepped out of the bathroom, running a hand through his hair. his eyes landed on the three 'newcomers' in the apartment. they were new to jimin, but jungkook knew them very well.
"you look like you're going to a business meeting..." jimin said, taking in jungkook's appearance. "when i have these things, i usually just throw on some jeans and a leather jacket..." he mumbled.
the other just blinked in confusion.
"i guess you could say that..." jungkook said, rolling up his sleeves, just past his elbows. "so you're here for me..." jungkook asked skeptically.
"yes, we have much to discuss in the sky," jin said.
"and you aren't here to harm jimin?" jungkook asked. jimin's eyes narrowed in confusion.
"not at all, it is not our intentions right now," jin said, folding his hands behind his back.
"right now..." jungkook mocked in a low tone. "hmm... well what we wasting time for then? let's go," jungkook turned to jimin. "stay alive for me."
"i mean i guess, you're the one about to face judgement, i think you better stay alive..." jimin mumbled, taking a step away from the angels. the presence of not one, but four angels in such a close proximity to him was enough to make his throat dry. he was feeling uneasy, suddenly weak from them being there alone. but he couldn't show it. he wasn't sure what the angels knew, even if it was just his identity as a demon.
"i'll be back," jungkook said, turning to the angels.
"thank you for cooperating," jin said, as he held a white diamond in his hands. it was surrounded in a white light encompassing the four of them. jungkook only nodded before they disappeared in a flash of light.
jimin jumped when a spiral of black and red sand appeared in the apartment. he hardly had anytime to get over the fact that three angels swooped up his angel and now he had another uninvited guest. except this 'uninvited guest' shared his apartment. his heart nearly skipped a beat until he realized the familiar face.
"yoongi..." he mumbled.
"i was coming back, i was waiting for the damn angels to leave..." yoongi grumbled, as he looked outside. "they say we're up to no good, but something's strange..."
"what do you mean..?"
"we gotta talk."
