"so the big man did this to you..." yoongi said, walking around jimin's shirtless torso in thought.

"you were there, did you not watch? you always talk about how you want me to suffer," jimin rolled his eyes.

"i'm a demon, not a sadist," he said, gently swatting jimin's head. "you may have deserved this shit, but it was still sickening to watch you get beat up. hearing your screams were satisfying enough," yoongi said sarcastically. jimin could've believed the words if the situation was less sincere, if it was a joke.

"right..." jimin mumbled, putting the shirt back over his body. "but what did you want to talk about?"

"that shit you said to the devil, what was that about?" yoongi crossed his arms.

"i don't know what you're talking about," jimin lies. he seemed confident enough, even though they both knew he was directly lying.

"don't give me that shit," yoongi said. "i've never heard anyone address the devil as dad. so what the hell?"

jimin tried avoiding the question, by going to the kitchen retrieving himself a bottle of beer. he took a long sip of the alcohol. "are you using hell's name in vain?" he asked jokingly, still trying to stay off topic.

"he may have created you, but to call him dad? you're asking to get stabbed in your demon parts," yoongi said, walking over to the couch and sitting down.

"how is this any of your business?"

"i was there, i've been alive longer than you have, so what is this?" yoongi said, his voice demanding answers.

jimin sighed. he could do this... maybe.

"you know what happened to the devil? how the devil became... the devil?" jimin asked.

"he disobeyed god, got cast out of heaven then began creating his own army to repell the light?" yoongi replied.

"but do you know why he got cast out of heaven? do you know what exactly he did to break god's laws?"

yoongi had to think for a moment. he never thought deeper than what he was told as a kid growing up. he had no reason to question it until now.

"wasn't there adam and eve—"

"that was a cover up story," jimin rolled his eyes, knowing exactly where the older was going with his words. he took another sip of his beer and sat on the other side of the couch.

"what really happened... the devil was a member of the council, he was held on such a high pedestal for being in such a holy position," jimin explained. "but he fell in love with something heaven would deem 'evil'..."

"you know why relationships between demons and angels became prohibited? it was because the devil succumbed to it, he got cast from heaven because he loved something evil in such a perfect society of beings. they wanted to prevent more of their angelic army to fall into the sin a demon produces," jimin sighed. he thought about how the situation was similar to his. no... it was a replica of what the devil experienced. now it was jungkook facing the holy judgement.

"that still doesn't explain you," yoongi spat, not satisfied with the information given to him.

"would you stop running you mouth? i'm getting there if you would only shut up," jimin said, rolling his eyes. "anyway, once the devil was cast out for his impurities and became... the devil, he began creating these demons... and... well he fell in love with one," jimin shrugged.

"so demons... didn't exist with the angels at first?" yoongi asked. everything he was told as kid suddenly meant nothing to him at jimin's words.

"i suppose not... so i... am a literal spawn of satan, in other words, i was basically created because the devil got frisky with one of the demons—"

"that, you didn't need to tell me like that," yoongi said, holding up his hand. "so are you like hundreds of years old?" jimin almost choked on his beer at the question.

"are you fucking serious? no! i'm as old as i say i am, the devil meeting a woman... this was recent happening you know? it's a younger event than you!" jimin said, his voice disturbed that yoongi even considered the thought.

"but... i remember you coming to hell after me? were you there all along?" yoongi asked, trying to fit the prices of this mysterious puzzle together.

"yeah well... hell is huge, hell is basically a universe of its own, there are many unexplored areas of hell, i was basically chillin in there," jimin shrugged. he wasn't' finding depth in the conversation anymore to keep the air as tense as it was. "but i was truly only sent to earth a couple months ago, when you and namjoon thought i was 'born' or created."

"it makes sense... how do you know all of this?" yoongi said, leaning back into the couch. his attention was now on the beer sipping demon.

"i was curious, so i looked into it... i asked my mom a lot of questions... as you can tell, she and the big man were very... close," jimin said, shivering slightly. "i'm not sure what's become of her, or where she even is, i only grew up with her, but i was on my own eventually, my dad pretty much rejected me if you saw that scene in hell..."

"i saw it all, but i couldn't hear a thing, the fires were crackling after you got out of the lake..." yoongi sighed, looking away.

the two sat in silence, not sure how to continue the conversation. it had ended on a note that couldn't be expanded. it didn't really need continuing. jimin had already told yoongi everything he asked for and then some. instead of dragging on useless words, they settled down in the comfortable silence that fell onto them like a weighted blanket.
