PART 14

INT. POSEIDON'S THRONE ROOM

POSEIDON is standing there, sharpening his trident. When finished, he puts it back into hisholder.

POSEIDON

Okay, I gave her the goblins back. She should start working soon.

HARRY

And the giants?

POSEIDON

Yeah, I replaced those too. Hopefully they are good workers like Oswald, not many giants are like him.

HARRY

So, while she finishes, shall we get ready?

POSEIDON walks over to a table that holds two chalices with a beverage in between them. Hebegins to pour the gold-colored liquid out from its container. He puts the top back on andhands one of the chalices to HARRY.

POSEIDON

Here is to new beginnings.

HARRY

Here, here.

They begin chugging the liquid. He spits it out almost immediately. HARRY makes a face ofdisgust.

HARRY

What is that?

POSEIDON

You better finish that, that is the rarest form of beverage you will ever taste.

HARRY looks into the glass to see its contents. There is something odd floating around.

HARRY

What is in this?

POSEIDON

It's a mixture of liquid gold, kraken tentacle, and an assortment of berries.

HARRY

That's gross.

POSEIDON

How? You can't even taste the berries that much.

HARRY

I wish you could, the other two taste like garbage.

POSEIDON

You better watch what you say, this drink costs more than your whole temple.

HARRY

Well, I'm sure, how do you even find a kraken tentacle.

POSEIDON points out the window and a huge kraken can be seen.

POSEIDON

That's where I get it from. His name is Reggie.

HARRY turns and looks at the huge squid-like creature behind him.

HARRY

Are you telling me, you chop off his tentacles to make a drink.

POSEIDON

Not even close. Goodness I'm not Hannibal Lector. He just sheds them off and grows new ones, kind of like a snake shedding a skin.
