PART 16
EXT. AGATHE's house GARDEN - DAY
OSWALD has AGATHE on his shoulders, as they run towards AGATHE's house. A lot of the waterhas already been soaked up but the garden was completely demolished with no plantstanding. AGATHE's shed was heavily damaged too. Just small puddles remain everywhere.The house has some exterior water damage. The door was broken and was laying downbeside the wall in a tangled mess.
AGATHE
Let me down, Oz. Wait for me here.
OSWALD stops and places her down. She begins to run, unknown with what she will find. Sheruns through the door into the house.
Int. AGATHE's house - day
No sound can be heard, all the furniture is flipped up. She searches every room.
No one is found.
She walks outside.
EXT. AGATHE's house GARDEN - DAY
OSWALD is looking too. No success. She falls down and begins to cry. Everything as beenstripped from her: parents, friends, dignity.
OSWALD approaches her. He places a hand on her shoulder.
OSWALD
Hey, come on, I'm sure they got out, we just have to search.
AGATHE
Just leave me, OSWALD. I appreciate what you're doing, I really do, but please just go.
OSWALD stares at her bewildered.
AGATHE(CONT'D)
I just need some alone time.
OSWALD opens his mouth, but no words will escape him. He smiles, pats her on her back,and walks away.
AGATHE remains, sulking on the ground, face covered.
A golden portal opens up outside of the house. ATHENA walks through. She stands overAGATHE.
ATHENA
Give me a reason why I don't throw you in Tartarus right this moment.
AGATHE looks up, notices ATHENA. Shakes her head violently.
AGATHE
This wasn't me.
ATHENA extends her arm, hand open. AGATHE's full-size blueprints are displayed.
ATHENA
So these are not your blueprints?
AGATHE
I am, but I promise, this wasn't my idea, it was Poseidon's, he recruited me.
ATHENA
And you went along with that traitor's requests?
AGATHE
Traitor?
ATHENA
Yes, a traitor, he has never accepted his role in this world.
ATHENA adjusts her shield.
ATHENA (CONT'D)
It seems that you haven't either. I will make sure of it that you remember it by the time I leave here.
She begins waving her hands.
ATHENA (CONT'D)
You are unworthy of the form you possess, you are unworthy of your gifts, you will be forced for the rest of your days as a creature that everybody steps on. Just how you stepped on my people today.
AGATHE's legs darken and grow hair on them. After the transformation is completed, she is aspider.
ATHENA (CONT'D)
From now on, for your utter disrespect for the gods, you will for henceforth be called Arachne.
A portal opens and ATHENA walks through.
Arachne scurries to the mirror in the living room, and sees her new form.
Everything goes black.
