Same Old, Same Old

*beep beep beep beep beep b-* I slammed my hand down on my alarm clock. What day is it? Oh yeah, Friday. I jumped out of bed and put on my clothes that I had laid out. Here we go again. I’ve been bullied since first grade for the stupidest things. My name, height, age, hair, weight. EVERYTHING!

I brushed my teeth and hair and ran down stairs to catch the bus. What about breakfast? I considered it for a minute. No. I put on my shoes, grabbed my back pack, and ran out to the bus. Sadly my bullies ride my bus, so it starts right at the beginning of the day.

“Oh look! It’s McKenna!” Amber said in a snotty voice.

“She is so ugly.” I couldn’t figure out who said that. Probably Megan, Amber’s back up.

Instead of going to the back of the bus like everyone else, I sat in the front. If the bus driver hears them making fun of me she will stand up for me. Not saying that I need other people to fight my battles for me, but it’s kind of like extra protection.

------------------------------ skipping the bus ride

When I got to school I started walking to my locker as usual. I noticed a big group of kids all surrounding one place. Hmm we probably got a new kid. I put in my combination and opened my locker. It was quickly slammed shut locking again. Amber snatched my back pack from my hand and kicked it across the hallway.

“What’cha gonna do now?” Amber asked getting all up in my face. I shoved her away hard.

“Leave me alone Amber.” I said as calmly as possible. When someone is being mean to you and all you wanna do is beat the crap out of them, it’s hard to stay calm.

“Oh are you gonna go get the bus driver to tell me to ‘lay off’?” She was talking in a baby voice, which she has learned annoys me.

“Amber, I said leave me alone. I guess you wouldn’t know what that means though because you’ve heard it so many times and STILL don’t understand it with your autism.” I know its mean, but if she is gonna give me crap then I’m gonna give her a dose of it right back.

Behind her Megan “Ooooooo”ed meaning that Amber just got burned. Point one for team McKenna.(: Amber turned around telling Megan to “shut up!” before turning back to me.

“Are you trying to start something with me McKenna?” She started rolling up her sleeves and cracking her knuckles in order to try and look tough, although she was failing miserably.

“Oh I don’t think I started anything meaning that you have been bulling me since first grade. Have you ever considered that wise-one?” I raised my eyebrows at her and was trying my best to mock her snotty-ness which was hard because she has a lot of snot in that brain of hers. I turned around and started to enter my combination into my lock, and then I remembered that my back pack was on the other side of the hall. As I started walking past Amber and Megan to go collect my things, Amber pushed me onto the ground REALLY hard. By then a circle has formed around us and the group of kids that I saw when I walked in the school were now around Amber and I.

“Amber, you have over done it this time!” I yelled as I got up and pushed her into the lockers behind her. She quickly reacted and punched me in the stomach. I wasn’t gonna let all these people see how much it hurt so I punched her in the face. After I did that she pushed me down once again and got on top of me, repeatedly hitting me in the face. A boy came into the circle yanking Amber off of me and pulling me up. I acted like I wasn’t hurt even though I felt like passing out.

“Are you okay?” the boy asked

“Nah, I love getting hit repeatedly.” I sarcastically said. I don’t remember seeing him around before. Maybe he’s new kid?

“I’m bringing you to the nurse.” He started guiding me to the nurse’s room. I stopped walking.

“I’m fine.” I said pulling my arm away from him

“No you are not, now let’s go. I’m not taking no for an answer!” he took my arm once again and started walking to the nurse’s room. I stopped AGAIN.

“Don’t take this the wrong way, but who are you? I haven’t seen you around before.”

“I’m Austin. And you are?”

“McKenna.”

“Nice to meet you McKenna, now can we please go to the nurse’s room? You look like you’re gonna- MCKENNA!”

That was the last thing I remember until everything went dark.

Like I said in my last story (Finding Myself) I explained that it will take a while for me to update due to school, switching houses (Moms to Dads), and all that other stuff.
