Saint Smith
6:00pm
Cassidy Skai Davis was about an hour away from becoming Cassidy Skai Smith. It sounded crazy just thinking of her name changing. Shawty was bout to be a nigga whole ole lady.I was sweating. It was hot outside and my dumbass chose to wear black out inna heat. I ain't even have a shirt on but still was sweating like a dog.
"You good bro?" Keone whispered.
"Yeah, yeah dawg I'm straight." I nodded, looking around. "Just waiting on Cass. She should be down here. The weddin startin in like 10 minutes."
Cass and I done threw this wedding together quick fast. We done got food, favors, a minister all that shit at the last moment. The fact that we was pulling this off so perfect was blowin me.
Interrupting me from my thoughts, I felt my phone buzz.
"Nah cause who could possibly be calling me right now." I huffed. "Yeo!"
"SAINT! HOW YOU AIN'T TELL A NIGGA YOU WAS GETTING MARRIED IN TAHITI MY NIGGA?!" Hood shouted.
"Ohhh shittttt. My bad Hood. When me and Cass was buying tickets we ain't even think about you." I lied. Cass ain't want his ass there and he kinda was twallin at the dinner last night, so me and her decided he was gone sit this one out. No hard feelings.
"Wooooow. I was one of your best men! How could you even forget a nigga like that?" He asked.
"Look man, I'll make it up to you or some shit. Right now I really gotta go." I huffed, dragging my hand across my face.
"Nah cause you got me fucked up dawg!" He exclaimed.
"Hood, my nigga. I apologize. I really gotta talk to you later." I mumbled, rolling my eyes.
"Be on the look out when you get back cuz. I might just buss a cap in ya-" He spat before I hung up the phone, cutting him off.
I couldn't be caught with Hoods stupid ass right now. I was more focused on Cass. I was just waiting fa ha ass to come on down. I had my vows ready and everything.

"Lisa what if he doesn't wanna marry me? What if he has cold feet right now? What if this bumass nigga run out on me in the middle of wedding? What if-" I panicked before she cut me off."First of all BITCH GET A GRIP." She emphasized, gripping me by the shoulders and shaking me a bit.
"Okay...I low-key needed that. Just a little. Thanks." I sighed.
"Cass I know you still not worried about that man leaving you. You know damn well he got you and vice versa." Christin scoffed, biting into a strawberry.
"Exactly. This man has been down for you since day one." Lisa added, sprinkling a little hair glitter in my hair.
"Y'all right." I nodded. "I'm just so nervous bro."
"I was nervous marrying Keone too boo." She scoffed. "I ain't know what the fuck our future was gonna be like. But! I'm glad I'm with him because underneath all that stupidity, he is a strong loving husband, and father. Couldn't ask for anyone better."
"Awww." Christin and I cooed.
"Exactly Cass so you better suck it up and go marry the giant nigga downstairs with the unibrow." Lisa joked.
"Stop playing with my husband." I playfully warned her.
"Girl...gone get your dress on." She chuckled. "Hurry cause the wedding finna start."
