Things haven't turned out like I had hoped. Jeremy won. He has the secret and he now rules the world. The angels who entrusted me with the secret haven't come to me yet. Hell knows what they will do when they realize what has happened.

Here Nelly and I are in a cage, and we have been starving for two days. Jeremy locked us up in here and he left, giving us nothing to eat to survive. We are going to die.

In the moment, Nelly and I are kissing. Out of going mad perhaps? I'm not exactly sure how this started happening.

"I love you," I manage to say, very weak, as I kiss her.

"I love you too," Nelly says.

I kiss her in desperation of something to happen, even though I know it's not and this won't help. Our lips touch each other and our breaths become heavy and we get into it until I stop.

"What are we doing? This is the last thing we need to be doing," I say, weak, as I try to get up, "If we want to have any chance of surviving, we need to start thinking of a way to get out of here."

"I got nothing," Nelly says immediately as she giggles, really going mad, staring at nothing in particular.

I see a sharp pointed rock a few feet away from the cage we're in and I reach outside the bars to try and get it.

Ugh.

Can't reach.

I look around for something and see nothing. I sit down beside Nelly thinking it's pointless because we are going to die and there's no escape. I look at a disoriented Nelly as a light bulb goes off. There is a pin.

"Oh my god," I say, jerking it out of her hair, as she has not a care in the world.

"I need to hurry," I mumble to myself.

I pick the lock from the inside, of course, and eventually, snap! I did it. I unlocked the cage. We are free! Nelly slowly gets up...

"Thank you," she says, as her eyes try to brighten up but I know she is happy.

"Come on," I say, opening the cage door, "Let's find something to eat."

We head to do so and we finally get to eat at my house. Dad isn't there. I wonder where he is. I hope he is okay. With Jeremy in rule, there is no telling what's going on.

As a bolt from the blue, an injured man runs up to us with a giant bleeding cut on his leg, and blood all over him.

"If you want to live, run and never look back," the man says, "even if the ones you love are back there."

"Why should we leave them behind?" I ask.

The man hesitates to respond, "Because they're all dead."
