There was one last bell, meaning it was the end of the school day. I stood up and grabbed my bag and met Rhett and Link outside the classroom. "You wanna walk to the school gates together?" Rhett asked "Yeah" said me and Link.
We all walked out of school building together talking and laughing about things when we came to a stop at the school gates, I saw my mum sat in her car looking over at us. I turned to Rhett and Link and said "So I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" Rhett and Link both answered with "Of course!" I laughed and held out my arms for a hug. They both hugged me and I ran to the car, looking back at them waving and shouting "Bye!".
I got into the car and my mum started with the questions. "How did it go? Did you make any new friends? What were your lessons like? Who were they?" I just smiled at her and said "Great, yes, good and they're my friends Rhett and Link" My mum replied with "See I told you it was going to be fine". We then set off driving home.
