At the end of the day we walked to the gates. Link took the heavy gift bag out of my hand and said "I'll hold this for you" I smiled at him and he returned a smile. As we walked to my house we all walked holding hands, Link to my left and Rhett to my right and me in the middle. We swung our hands back and fourth as we walked.
We arrived at my house and we stopped "You wanna come inside?" I asked them "Yeah" they both replied. I walked up to my door and turned the handle and opened the door slowly "Surprise!" All my family jumped out, I turned around to Rhett and Link and they were stood laughing at my reaction "Did you know about this!?" I said "Yeah!" Rhett said "We helped plan it" Link said. I hugged both and went round and hugged all my family members. My dad walked over to Link and patted him on the shoulder and said "Do it now, don't be nervous" I was confused, Link stepped forward and all my family surrounded us in a circle. Link gulped and took a deep breath and walked towards me "What's going on?" I asked. Link placed a small box in my hand and I opened it, inside was a necklace with half a heart charm on it, I gasped. "I have the other half, so when we are together our hearts are too" he said, he hugged me and kissed me in front of everyone and they all clapped.
"We'll be going out to dinner in an hour and a half, I'll take you boys home so you can get ready, I'll pick you both up on my way to dinner" my dad said as he walked Rhett and Link out to his car. I went up to my room to get ready, I put on a blue dress and some makeup, and there I was ready!
