Me and Link finished our lunch and it was time for last lesson, I was scared. I could see that Link was angry as we walked towards class. We got there and Rhett was sat in the classroom. We went towards the back where he was sat, Link sat next to him and I sat behind them both. "Hey man" Rhett said "Hey" Link said fast whilst still facing the front with his arms crossed "You ok?" Rhett asked looking concerned for his friend "Yeah, everything is just great" he said in a sarcastic tone "Ok..." Rhett said turning back to face me, I looked down at my table. Throughout the rest of the lesson we didn't talk, it felt really strange.

The bell rang it was time to go home. We walked to the gates together, I was relieved that Link didn't do anything. We got to the gates, my dad was nowhere to be seen, so they waited with me. It was quiet "You sure you're ok dude? You seem a little stressed" Link looked up at Rhett and let out one big sarcastic "Ha!" after that he continued "A little stressed! I thought you were my best friend!" Rhett looked confused "I am... your best friend" He said "Ohh really!? Do best friends kiss their best friends girlfriends?" Rhett didn't know what to do at this point "Man it was a big mistake and it sure won't happen again" He said in a calm tone, Link looked like he was about to charge at Rhett, I ran in front of Link in between the two, he gently pushed me to the side. He ran towards Rhett and pushed him to the ground.

I couldn't stand it! My two best friends were fighting in front of me "Stop!" I shouted crying, Link snapped out of his anger and turned around and ran to hug me. Rhett got up off the ground, still in shock from what just happened "Link, I'm sorry" "Please Rhett, just don't talk to me for a few days" Rhett looked upset and slowly nodded and walked to his mums car.

My dad arrived and gave Link a lift home, we didn't talk in the car. When we got to his he got out and I leaned out the window to kiss him "Call me when you get home" "Ok, I love you!" "I love you too!" he shouted as he ran to his door. My dad started driving us home.
