The rest of the week went by fast, we did the same thing everyday. We chatted in all our lessons, ate together at lunch and walked to the school gates together after school and last of all we always ended the day with a hug, that was my favourite part of the day!
It was the end of the school day on Friday and Link agreed to come to my house at 7:30pm as the dance started at 8pm. We all said our goodbyes and hugged. As I walked towards the car I shouted back to Link "See you at mine!" He smiled and shouted "Yeah, I can't wait!".
We drove home and when we arrived I ran straight in the house. My mum made dinner and I ate it so fast. I had a shower and washed my hair. I put on my dress and my mum and dad walked into my room "How do I look?" "Amazing" They both replied. I smiled at them, then there was a knocking at the front door. My mum and dad agreed they would go answer it.
They went downstairs and opened the door, I heard the conversation from my room. "Ahhh you must be Link, come in" "Yes sir, umm where is (Your Name)?" "She's just getting ready, she'll be down soon". That was my cue, I took a deep breath and walked down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs stood my mum, dad and Link. It was silent until Link said "You look beautiful" I looked at him and smiled "Thanks". My mum made us take a few pictures together, I don't know why it wasn't like it was prom or anything. We both got in the back of my dads car and he began driving us to school.
