Links Birthday

It was morning and last night I got to sleep so easily. I can't wait to see Link today for his birthday. I got ready and put all his presents in a big gift bag and brought them downstairs. I made myself breakfast and ate it as quick as I could and grabbed the gift bag and my school bag and went out the front door. I wanted to walk to school today. As I walked down the street I couldn't stop smiling, I was so excited to see how Link would react to his presents.

As I arrived near school I could see the guys stood near the gates, Link was holding a gift bag, it was probably from Rhett. As I got closer to the gates they noticed me, and I started running towards them. I hugged Rhett and kissed Link "Hey guys, oh and here Link Happy Birthday!" I said as I handed him the gift bag. Link ran over to a nearby bench like an excited child "Woah" he said as he got all the presents out, he began ripping the wrapping off. Me and Rhett just stood there watching him. He opened the deodorant set first "Cool! Tell your mum and dad thanks for me!" I nodded, he moved on to the next one "Marvel t-shirts!" he said looking at me with a huge smile on his face "They're really cool Link" Rhett said. There was one present left and he began unwrapping it, he paused when he opened it and smiled "Awww I love this picture" he said still staring at it "Ohh a card" he said as he looked into the gift bag, he opened it and read every word in the card, tears began forming in his eyes "I love you so much (Your Name), thanks for the presents" he said as he came over to hug me "I had to get you something"

After that we began walking to form, we sat in our seats. "What are you doing tonight Link?" Rhett asked "Umm just having a family meal out, that reminds me are you able to come (Your Name)? My mum asked as she wants you there" he said looking at me "She wants me there?" I said "Yeah, you are my girlfriend she thought it be nice to have us together on my birthday and you Rhett can you come?" "Yeah man!" Rhett said "Yeah I'll come, I'll let my mum and dad know when I go home after school" "It's gonna be great to have you guys there!"

Throughout the day Link got many presents from other friends at school. We walked to the gates together after school, I hugged the guys "My mum will pick you both up tonight, wear something smart" "Ok I can't wait, bye guys see you later!" I shouted as I ran to the car. I got in and my dad asked if Link liked his presents "He loved them, he invited me to dinner with his family tonight" "That's great!" he said as we drove home.

When I got home I got straight in the shower and washed my hair, after I dried it and let it fall perfectly. I found a nice red dress and put it on, I had some earrings and a necklace that went perfectly with the dress so I added those to my outfit and also some red shoes. I decided to put on some makeup, so I did my eyes up with some mascara and eyeliner and I put on some bright red lipstick. Hmmmm maybe this was too much. No I was meeting Links family I want to look nice. I called my mum up to my room, she walked in "Is this too much?" "No you look great" "Thanks, Link will probably arrive soon" As I waited around for Link I sat in the living room and watched some TV.

After a while there was a knock at the door, I went to answer it and stood there was Rhett and Link. Rhett was wearing a shirt and tie with smart pants and shoes and Link was in a full suit we all didn't say anything, we just looked at each other up and down "Wow you both look so handsome" "My mum made me wear this suit, you look incredible, so beautiful" Link said "This was the only smart thing I could find to wear, you do look amazing" Rhett said "Thanks guys" I said whilst blushing. We all got into the car and Links mum turned to me in the back "Wow you look stunning (Your Name)" I smiled and said "Thanks Mrs Neal". She then started driving us to the restaurant.

When we got there the place looked so fancy. His mum parked the car and we all got out and walked towards the entrance, me and Link were holding hands. Links mum had reserved a table for all their family. When we got to the table it was huge and most of Links family was already sat down, they got up when they saw us and all started walking over to me and Link. They were wishing him happy birthday and handing him more presents. We all sat at the table and I sat in between Rhett and Link "So Link who are these?" one of his family members asked "This is my best friend Rhett and this is my girlfriend (Your Name)" "It's lovely to meet you Rhett and you too (Your Name), wow Link you're growing up fast, as teenage boys do you'll be going through girls every week" he let out a laugh, Link wasn't laughing at what he said "No, I've been with (Your Name) for ages and I'm in love and hopefully I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with her, she's amazing" he said as he took my hands and kissed me, there was a wave of awww's coming from around the table.

After eating a three course meal it was time to go and I was stuffed. We all said our goodbyes to Links family and went out to the car. Links mum began talking "So did you all enjoy yourselves?" we all said in sync "Yes! Thank you!". I was the first to get dropped off, Rhett and Link got out and walked me to my door I hugged Rhett and kissed and hugged Link "You look amazing tonight" Link said "Yeah" Rhett said nodding his head agreeing with Link "Thanks guys you look great too! I'll see you at school tomorrow!" I went inside and was greeted by my mum and dad "How'd it go?" they asked "It was great! Links family are so welcoming" "Great, it's late you should go to bed" "Ok" I ran upstairs and cleaned all the makeup off and got into my PJ's. I was so tired, I laid on my bed and drifted off straight to sleep.
