Second Day Of School

It was the next morning, and my second day at school. It's crazy but I was actually excited, not for school but I was excited for seeing the guys again. I got ready as quick as I could and ran downstairs and made myself toast, I threw that down my throat and shouted up the stairs "I'm ready for school mum!". My mum walked down the stairs really surprised to see me actually wanting to go to school. She picked up her car keys off the side table and we both walked outside to the car.

After the ten minute drive we arrived at the school. I leaned over the seat and kissed my mum and said "See you after school" I got out the car and began walking towards school, as I walked through the corridors I noticed posters all around the walls. It was talking about a 'School Dance' that was happening on Friday. I started thinking to myself maybe I should go but I quickly rethought about it and agreed with myself that I wasn't gonna go. Why? Well because I only just started and also who would I even go with? After standing still staring at the poster for about five minutes I began making my way to form.

When I got to form Rhett and Link were talking and as soon as I walked in Rhett saw me and started nudging Link. Link went bright red. I sat down at the desk behind them and the both turned around. "Morning guys" I said, they both replied saying "Morning". Rhett then started talking about the school dance. "Are you going?" he asked "I don't know, even if I did I wouldn't have anyone to go with". Rhett looked at Link and raised his eyebrows. Link then changed the subject "Are you busy this weekend?" "I haven't got anything planned, why?" I asked "Me and Rhett are off to the cinema, maybe we could come by and pick you up, if you wanted?" "Yeah" I said without even thinking about it. "Great!" they both replied. We then headed off to our next lesson, which flew by as me, Rhett and Link chatted at the back of the classroom.
