New Beginnings (A Rhett and Link Fanfiction) ~Being Edited~

Rhetts Surprise

I finished eating. "I'm meeting Rhett and Link, I'll see you later" I said as I walked towards the front door. "Are you sure?" my mum asked "Yeah, I might be back a little late". They didn't want me to go out but they let me. I left and looked at my phone screen and use it as a mirror, the mark on my face had faded away a little because of the ice pack. I then texted Link "I'm on my way now" he replied with "Ok, me and Rhett are outside my house". I got my bike and started riding to Links.

"Hey" they both said when I got there "Hello, so where we going Rhett?" I asked "Follow me!" he said as he rode off on his bike, me and Link kept up with him until he stopped near the woods. We all jumped off our bikes and stared in through the trees. "Through there" Rhett said as he walked in pushing his bike beside him, me and Link looked at each other and walked forward doing the same. We kept following Rhett and he stopped and pointed up to a tree house. "My brother Cole helped me make it for us" he looked back at us and smiled, he looked proud of himself. "Woah, it's so cool!" I said "Yeah! What are we waiting for, lets go in!" Link said excited. It wasn't very small like usual tree houses, it was massive as it was made for us teenagers.

We all climbed up and got inside "I thought this could be our little hangout" Rhett said "Yeah, it's great Rhett!" Link said as he patted Rhett's shoulder. "Lets take a picture in front of it!" Rhett said. We all left and Rhett placed his phone on a nearby tree stump and set it on a timer, he ran back and I stood in the middle of them both, they put their arms around my back as I did with them. "Smile!" Rhett shouted, we all did as told, Link at the last minute put his free hand up and made a peace sign. The camera made a sound, he ran over and looked at the picture on his phone "Perfect!" he said with a smile on his face "Show us!" me and Link said "I'll send you it later" Rhett replied.

We all got back in the tree house and chatted for hours, it was getting dark so we decided to go home. Rhett went to his house first as it was close by. Link and I rode our bikes to mine, he came to the door with me. "I'll see you tomorrow, I love you" he kissed me and gave me a hug "Yeah and I love you too!" I said still holding him tightly, I didn't want to let him go, but he had to go home. We parted, I stood at the door waving as he rode away. He was gone. I turned around and went inside, I locked the door behind me. My mum and dad were sat in the living room, I stuck my head in the doorway and said "Goodnight" they both replied with "Goodnight darling"

I went to my room and got into my PJ's. I put my phone on charge and placed it on the table next to my bed. I laid down and my phone made a sound, I picked it up, it was a text from Rhett. I checked it and he had sent me the picture he took. I opened it and smiled to myself, I saved it and put it as the background on my phone. I placed my phone back on the table and laid on my bed, it didn't take me long to fall asleep.
