Chapter ten: Let's get this party started

Sophie, Jordan, Spencer and Darnell walked through the doors of JJ's house, music was blasting, people were dancing and drinking and just having a good time "Sophie!" Leila said as her and Olivia walked over to you "You made it." Olivia said as she hugged her "Yeah." she said "Hey Darnell." Olivia said, he smiled and nodded at her "Come on let's get you a drink." Leila said as the three girls headed to the kitchen "Yo yo yo! My boys made it!" JJ yelled as he guy hugged Spencer and Jordan "And they brought a friend!" he said as he guy hugged Darnell too "How ya doing Dar?" JJ asked "Good. Cool party." he said "Thank you." JJ said "Well come on boys enjoy the party! Whoo!" he said as she drank the rest of his drink and walked on in the middle of the crowd. 

Sophie's P.O.V:

"So who exactly is Darnell?" I asked as I took a sip of my lemonade. Because Olivia was a addict, when she went to her first party Leila promised to not drink too and they had done that ever since so I decided to do that too "He's the kid that Spencer's dad raised in Nevada, and he moved him out to Crenshaw to play for the Charger's but then he died so he was going to head back to Germany where is mom was stationed but Spencer convinced him to stay so now he lives with them." Olivia said "Huh." I said nodding my head just then someone changed the song "Oh my god!" Leila said "No freaking way." Olivia said it was Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aguilera "We have to do it!" I said "No!" Olivia said at the same time that Leila said "Yes!" we both looked at her "Sorry Liv, your outnumbered." I said as we both dragged her to the middle of the house "Ready? Five six seven eight!" Leila said, then all three of us started moving our bodies to the song with the choreographed dance we made back in middle school, people started to crowd around us and cheer us on, we were having a blast, I saw Jordan looking at me smiling clapping along to the  song and I couldn't help but think Maybe I do still like him, even after all these years.

After the girls finished their choreographed dance everyone cheered them on "Damn you guys were fire!" JJ said "And Sophie just wow." he said "What do you mean?" she asked "I don't know but you look more like yourself today." he said "What does that mean?" she asked "I think what he means is that you look better than you did when we all first saw you." Olivia said, Sophie smiled and looked at Jordan "Thanks...I think." she said, "Hey Sophie." she turned to find one of the girls on the cheer team, her name was Brooke "The extra weight, it looks good on you." she said, everyone had shocked expressions on their faces, except Sophie who looked miserable and Jordan who looked worried "Brooke what the hell is your issue?" Leila said "I'm just say, when she first showed up at school this week I though she was some anorexic freak but I guess not." she said with a shrug taking a sip of her beer, "But I mean it would make sense you guys are all freaks, you were a addict, you went crazy, your some gangster from the hood, I mean just wow." she said, Sophie didn't say anything as she pushed past her "Someone's touchy tonight." she said "Soph, Sophie wait!" Jordan said as he followed her to the kitchen, he saw her grab a beer and drink it "Sophie are you okay?" he asked "Yeah totally. Let's just have a good time tonight okay? Okay." she said as she drank some more then headed back inside to were everyone was.

The rest of the night Sophie drank...a lot, she played beer pong, flip cup and took way too many shots. Now she was dancing on the table "Jordan maybe you should take her home before she does something she seriously regrets." Olivia said "Yeah your probably right." he said as he walked over to her "Hey Sophie come down from there and I'll give you a ride home." he said "No! I wanna stay." she said "Sophie come on your gonna fall." he said extending his arm to her, she shook her head but ended up getting dizzy and tripping over her own foot luckily Jordan caught her "Okay, maybe you should take me home." she said to him "Okay." he nodded as he carried her out to his car, he helped her in then drove down the street to his house, he knew that bringing her home would not be a good idea, he didn't want her getting in trouble, when he opened the door to his house to let her in his dad walked over "What the hell is going on here?" he asked, then he looked at Sophie "Hi Coach." she said "Is she drunk?" Coach Baker asked "No." he said "I'm lightly buzzed." she said with a smile, Coach looked at his son "Okay yes." he said "Jordan." he said "Her parents are away this weekend I didn't want to leave her home alone like this." he said, Coach Baker looked at the state of the girl in front of him "Okay fine, just bring her straight to bed okay?" he said "Yeah." Jordan said as he put her arm over his shoulder "Come on Soph let's get you into bed." he said "But your dad's here." she said "Not what I meant." he said as he helped her up the stairs. The only guest room in the house was taken by Spencer who Jordan knew would come back after the party not wanting to bus back to Crenshaw, and he didn't want Liv having any sort of triggers what with her sobriety so his room was the only options, he opened the door and helped her on the bed, she fell back laugh "That was so much fun!" she said her words slightly slurred, then she groaned and sat up "It's too hot in here." she said as she started to take her top off "What are you doing?" Jordan asked "I'm taking my shirt off, calm down I'm wearing a bra." she said "Here." he said tossing him one of his shirts, she groaned and rolled her eyes but put the shirt on, it was long enough that it was a dress on her then she took off her pants too "Okay come on, let's get you into bed." Jordan said as he moved the covers of the bed and made her lie on the bed, then he put the covers back on and turned off the light "I'm gonna go sleep on the couch he said "No." she said "No stay here with me. Please?" she asked, he looked at her and the way she looked at him she just couldn't say no, he turned the light off and laid down next to her, she turned to the side to face him and snuggled up next to him, he looked down and her and smiled as he put his arm around her. Soon they both fell asleep.
