I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs from down stairs in the kitchen. I got up and saw some clothes on the end of my bed. It was a pair of black sweat pants and a red t- shirt with a white sweater. When I put everything on I went downstairs to the kitchen to see who was making breakfast.

"Good morning Kizzy, how was your sleep when I went to check on you you were sound asleep," Ash said.

"I slept fine the beds here are more comfortable than the ones at the place I was. By the way you still didn't tell me what that place was," I said to him giving him a serious look.

"I told you it's a place were werewolves kids go when their parents die," he said sounding annoyed that I asked the question.

"Okay, sorry I asked," I said sarcastically. Ash past me a plate with bacon and eggs the were both over easy and runny in the middle just the way I like them. "How did you know that I liked my eggs like this," I asked sounding a bit curious.

" I don't know your father liked them like this when he was a kid so I thought that you would like them like that, do you really eat them like that?" He asked me looking like I was a weird person for eating my eggs like this.

"Yes I eat them like this all the time, where's Gray?" I asked.

"He's outside chopping wood for the furnace so we can keep warm at night," he said trying to be funny. "he's out back if you want to help."

I got out of my seat after I finished my breakfast and went to the back door to find Gray. I found him by a shed in the backyard, even though the backyard is a whole forest, he was chopping wood like Ash said he was. I walked up to him seeing how much wood he had chopped, he didn't chop more then five pieces I guess, by the look of the pile. When I got closer, not realizing where I was standing, the chopping stopped. I looked over at Gray and he was staring at me.

"Well look who woke up finally, did we have a nice sleep?" Gray asked me.

"Ya it was warm last night and the bed was comfortable so I slept like a log," I said to him trying not to make eye contact with him.

"You sounded like you were a log because I couldn't hear you at all, so I got Ash to go and check on you because I didn't want to go in there cause it would be awkward walking into a girls room who you have know idea who she is," he said as his face turned a bit red. I looked away so he didn't know I saw him blush when he said that to me.

"So how did you get, you said Ash brought you," I said trying to make a conversation with him.

"Well it wasn't just Ash that saved me, his girlfriend Eve was there to," he said with a smile. "I saw them outside of my window one day and they were both looking at me with curious eyes. I looked away then I turned back then they were gone. Hours later they come barging in and they took me to this place and said that I was safe now," he said with a happy tone.

"Did they tell you why they did it, why they saved you?" I asked trying my best not to get to cause a fight.

"They said they brought me hear because when they looked at me they saw that my colour of eyes was rare for a werewolf and told me that I must be protected because I'm the 'special kind' of werewolf," he said sounding a bit unhappy. "but for you he only saved you because you're his niece," Gray said sounding as if he was about to cry. So I decided to change the subject.

"So where is Eve?"

"She went with Patch and Stitch to see if the werewolf jail has anymore places built around North America. They should be back tomorrow cause they only left a couple of weeks ago," he said.

"Kizzy can you come inside please I have to talk to you about something!" Yelled Ash.

"Coming! Are you okay doing this by yourself?" I asked.

"Ya sure go ahead he probably wants to talk to you about the chores around here," he laughed. I kind of giggled to show him that it was funny but it really wasn't but I did it to be nice.

"We'll see you later then," as I ran off to go in the house. when I walked in Ash was sitting on the couch waiting for me. "so what do you want to talk about?" I asked with a bit of worry in my voice.

"It's nothing bad it's just that if you're going to stay here we have to change your name."

I looked at him as if he just hammered a nail into himself.

"I-I have to change my name?"
