Chapter 19

Gray's POV

The next morning everybody was downstairs in the kitchen talking about how to find Snow. Ash was asking Eve if they said anything about where they were taking her. Eve shook her head. She put her hands in her pant pockets and felt a piece of paper in her pocket.

"What's that," I asked.

"I don't know," said Eve.

She opened it and handed it to Ash.

"It says 'Dear Eve,

I'm sorry about your friend I tried to stop him, but he lost control. Anyway if your wondering why I put this note in your pocket was because I was a friend of Stitch, and he told me about Snow and I told him that I would keep an eye out for her if I came across her. If you want to find her she is in a lab in North Dakota. Its in an isolated place in the woods. Oh and if you find it you should transform into your wolf self cause the place where the lab is has a lot of wolves in the area so if you transform they will think your just a normal wolf. And I really am sorry about your friend Eve, I really am. Sincerly, Axel.'"Ash finished reading and looked at Patch to see what she was thinking.

"I didn't even know he had friends outside of this place I thought he only knew you," Patch said.

"That's what I thought too, but know that I read this I say that Axel is on our side and that's why he didn't kill you at the bridle store," Ash said.

"It makes sense," I said. "He probably asked to look for Snow and when he got the chance he planned a way for us to stop the lab from doing anymore experiments."

"That does make sense but he left out one thing. What's the easiest way to get in without being seen," said Ash.

We all looked at each other as if any of us had an answer.

"I say that we look for a unguarded place in wolf form then we transform back into human form and sneak in at night when no one will see us for sure," I said.

"That's a great idea,"Ash said walking over to me and putting his arm around me. "We leave at noon."

At noon we packed all the things that we would need for the trip and we all packed extra clothes for when we have to shift. We all put our things in Ash's white van cause it looked like a regular work van the people always drive around in. Ash told me to sit in the front with him so that we could talk. I looked at him and told him that everyone would have to listen to our conversation. He told me he made a wall that goes behind the front seats to block things from coming to the front and he said it was sound proof. We all got in and were on the road.

We were on the road for two hours in silence. Ash kept looking at me the whole time as if he wanted to say something but he couldn't. So I spoke up.

"So what do you want to talk about," I said finally.

"I want to know why you guys both thought it would be a good idea to not tell me you guys were dating," he said.

"Well, she is your niece and she's your family and I'm just a rare species of werewolf that you saved out of the lab. So we thought that you would get upset that I was dating your niece after one week of knowing her and not asking your permission if I was loud to date her," I said.

He looked at me with a smile. Then he started to laugh.

"You thought that I would get mad at you for dating my niece, since when did you start feeling like I was that kind of person," he said.

"Since I started dating her," I said.

He patted me on the back and smiled at me.

"I would never get made, and besides she likes you and I noticed that she liked you even before you started dating. But remember if you make her cry in any way I will hunt you down," he said to me with a serious voice.

He went back to focusing on the road and watching for traffic. We were going to be at the border soon and then when we cross the border the search will start.

We were on the road for two days when we finally made it to an isolated spot in North Dakota. We found a place to hide the van from the guards so they wouldn't be able to find us. We had the building in sight and saw guards on all sides of the building. We all got out of the van and met behind the van and agreed this would be a good time to shift.

Once we all shifted we ran deep into the woods to see if there was any border around it. We ran forward then we turned left so we ran in front of the building from a distance. I heard a yelp come from Ash. I saw him rub his nose with his paw.

'Well I guess there is no way in except for the front entrance' said Ash.

We looked at him in horror at the thought that we would have to probably risk our life to go through the front door to save Snow. I shook my head in disbelief. I looked up at the building and saw a guard pointing a gun at us, he pulled the trigger and the shot landed right beside me. we all ran back deep into the woods so that we couldn't be seen anymore.

I looked up at the sky and it was getting late out. I was pacing back and forth in frustration. I looked at the building to my right and saw a figure that looked to be inside the glass border. I barked at the others to see, when they saw it I ran toward it to see what is was. They all followed just in case I got in trouble. As I got closer I ran as fast as I could cause that figure was not something, it was Snow. We met up at the glass and we all stood there with excitement. Then she told us we had to go, I wasn't happy about that, I just saw her and now I she had to go. She told me she would be fine and to hurry up and save her. I was happy to hear her voice, I ran off to meet with the others and we met back a the van and got changed into our clothes and we tried to come up with a plan.

"Does anyone have an idea," Ash said to all of us.

Silence. No one had any idea on how to save her.

"I do," said a voice in the bushes.

We all turned around to where the voice came from.

"Axel," said Ash, "What are you doing here?"

"Well you do want to get Snow out of there right? So listen up cause I have a plan that will help you get her out and will help you destroy all of the experiments that they are making."
