Chapter 11

I pushed away as I realized what I was doing. I looked at Gray with shock in my eyes that said 'did I really kiss him.'

"I'm sorry I don't know what I'm doing. I'm gonna go so this doesn't get anymore weird," I said as I ran out of his room.

I heard a loud sigh coming from inside his room. I walked to my room and closed the door behind me and put my back to it. As I was about to sit on my bed I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, it was so bad I knelt on the floor and was grabbing my stomach. I began to start twitching.

"Oh no, no not now I'm not ready for this. I don't want to change," I whispered. But I knew that I had to go with it no matter how bad it was. I was thinking maybe better now then never, but now I wish I never thought of that. The pain was getting worse I felt my skin burning all over my body. I tried not to scream but I let out a howl instead. I looked down to see a paw. A wolf paw, a white one. when the pain stopped I fell over from all that pain. I tried to get up but my legs were unsteady and I couldn't get up. As I tried to get up I heard someone coming down the hall. I turned to see who it was when my door opened. It was Gray. He knelt down beside me trying to help me on all of my four legs. I thought it was weird that he was helping me after what I did.

"Kizzy you have to focus, you have to try and control your body," he said.

I closed my eyes and tried to focus on standing but I fell to the floor with pain. I looked down at my feet to see they were normal again. I closed my eyes to try and ignore the pain then I felt something on me. Something warm. I looked down and a blanket was
on me, then what happened next was it went dark. I passed out and woke up on my bed, it was still dark out and I heard people talking. I stood up and was about to walk out my room when I looked down and it was naked. I quickly put on some clothes and headed down stairs.

"She changed into a wolf?"

"Yes but it was only a few seconds then she was human again."

I tried to sneek down the stairs but they made a loud squeaky sound. Everyone looked at me even Cujo. Cujo ran up to me and started lick my face.

"Hey buddy, what you all talking about?" I asked.

"Nothin, just how you changed into a wolf even tho you didn't go through all of the stages of transforming," Ash said.

I looked over at the couch to where Stitch was lying down. He was sleeping but when he opened his eyes and gave me a smile. I smiled back. I guess he knew what I did and that's why he's smiling. He started to cough and Gray ran over to his side to try and help him. Even if he could try he couldn't, before Gray even got Stitch to sit up he went motionless.

"Stitch, Stitch wake up, wake up. you can't be dead, I need you," Gray said. He put his head on Stitch and started to cry. I wanted to walk up to him and hug him but I couldn't cause of what happened up stairs.

"Gray, Gray you gotta let him go now, he's gone," Ash said.

"No he's not, even tho he's dead he's still part of this family he would never leave us," said Gray.

" We should tell Patch," Ash said to Eve and I. I nodded and let them go up the stairs.

When he left it was only me and Gray. It was awkward in there because it was silent until I heard a loud cry. Me and Gray both looked toward the stairs where Ash went to tell Patch. When we both looked away from the stairs I caught him staring at me. I looked away from him but he still kept his gaze at me. I heard him stand up and walk over to me, I looked at him and saw that his face was red. When I saw his face I hugged him, I hugged him cause I made Stitch a promise I would look after Gray for him. I heard people walking down the stairs. When me and Gray pulled away I kissed him on the cheek.

When Ash and Eve came down we knew Patch wouldn't be joining us. Ash picked up Stitches lifeless body off the couch and took him outside to bury. it was a couple minutes later when he came back and sat on the couch. Me and Gray sat by each other but kept our distance.

"We need to talk about what happened when you guys left to find the experiments," Ash said.

"Experiments?" I asked.

"That place you were in was a experimental place were they use werewolves,"He said.

"So what's happening to me is because of that place," I said.

"Yes"
