Chapter 12

"Eve you need to tell me what you guys saw that day, at the experiment lab," Ash said to Eve.

"We found the place, where you said it would be, so we went around the town and asked citizens about it. They said that they sometimes see kids strapped into those shirts that go around you like at a Asylum. But some of the kids will be covered in blood, that's what a lady said to me. Once we thought we got enough information we went to a motel for the night and in the morning we went to check it out and then..." Eve didn't need to finish her story we already knew what happened next.

"But why would you go during the day, you know you have more cover at night," Gray said starting to get annoyed.

"Because we thought if we went in the morning we could see where they take the children and see if we could sneak in and try to steal files," Eve said.

"Kizzy do you remember if they ever tried to drug you and waking up not remembering anything?" Ash asked.

"No but, they did give me meds, do you think they took kids and made then take the pills to see how they react?" I asked.

"If they were giving you meds then that's probably what their doing in the lab and why kids don't come out," said Eve. "I should probably go and see how Patch is doing."

Ash nodded his head. He looked at Gray and motioned his head toward Eve as if to say go with her. When he did it was just me and Ash in the room.

"Kizzy remember when I told you you might have to change your name? Well I think you should do it now, since you know what kind of wolf you are," He said to me.

"Well, I haven't really thought about my name until I changed and when I saw my colour. My whole body was covered in white fur and when I saw it it was as white as snow. So I'm thinking maybe my name should be Snow, because of my white fur," I said to Ash.

Ash looked at me and gave an approving nod.

"I like it, and I'm sure everyone else will to," He said.

After twenty minutes of silence in the living room Gray, Patch, and Eve came down the stairs. Ash stood up as he heard them coming down. He held out his hand telling me to stand up. He put his arm around me and looked at everyone with a smile.

"Everyone I would like for you to meet our newest member of the pack, Snow."
