Chapter 9

"Stitch got shot? How I thought you guys were only checking it out on the outside not the inside," Ash said looking at the motionless body. "Take him inside Eve I'll be there in a minute. Patch come here I need to talk to you," said Ash as Eve dragged Stitch inside the house.

"I don't know what happened, we were outside of the place you said to find and we parked the truck away so they didn't see us. Then we got out and went on foot to get a better look so we couldn't get caught. Then we were by the place hidden then we heard a shot then herd a thud and saw Stitch... oh Ash it was horrible I-," Patch stopped. She started to cry, Ash went up to her and hugged her.

"Shh it's okay Patch, Stitch will be fine all we need to do is take out the bullet then we'll see what happens next okay," Ash said trying to re-ensure Patch.

"What if he doesn't make it, then what I'll be forever alone," Patch said crying on Ashes shoulder.

"You won't be alone Patch, he will make it you just have to be positive about this," Ash said while he rubbed Patches back. "let's go inside to see how he's doing okay ." Patch nodded. I looked at Ash and mouthed if I should come. He just shook his head no.

He went inside with Patch then came out a few seconds later with clothes.

"When Gray changes back to human form he will go in the shed to transform back so can you put these in the shed for me. Oh and Kizzy when he does change back just try your best to not let him in the house okay," Ash told me while he looked at Gray who I don't think he was paying attention cause all he did was whine.

"I will Ash, Just go and take care if Stitch," he nodded then went in the house.

After he went in the house I walked to the shed and opened it to put Grays clothes in there. He followed me in which meant he was going back to human form.

"Are you ready to change back?" I asked looking at him. He just snorted which means yes. I closed the door behind me so I didn't have to see anymore skin ripping apart. I waked away from the shed and went to the house and looked through the window to see how they were doing. But they had the curtain closed so I didn't see anything, but I did here yelling coming from the house and the shed. I sat with my back against the wall of the house and sat there with my arms wrapped around my legs.

I must have fallen asleep because I was imagining me as a white wolf running through the forest free of anything. I felt like I was unstoppable and no one could touch me. I felt someone shaking me but before I knew I was awake and all I saw in front of me was Gray. He was human again, he still looked the same.

"I see that we're not allowed in the house," Gray said helping me up.

"You heard what Ash said? I thought you didn't cause all you did was made loud noises," I said to him with a tease. He looked at me with a smile and he put both of his hands on his head.

"We should sit on the steps and wait for them to be finished, or would you rather sit on the ground," Gray said trying to tease me like I did to him.

"Sure," I said.

We walked to the front of the house to sit on the steps. We both sat there minding our own business when the door opened and we both jumped. It was Eve. She walked towards both of us and looked at me.

"You must be Kizzy, I'm Eve I'm sure my boyfriend told you who I was and who everyone else was," she said. I looked at her and nodded. When I looked at her eyes I saw they were red. Red like she was crying.

"So how's Stitch doing, I'm sure you don't come out here to chat with Kizzy did you," Gray said with a harsh tone.

"Don't get snippy with me boy remember who brought you here," Eve said looking at Gray. "Stitch... Stitch lost a lot of blood and were the bullet hit him made him paralyzed from the waist down. Ash is not sure he will make till morning.The bullet that hit him was pure silver. I'm sorry Gray I know he was like a big brother to you but we are trying everything we can to save him," Eve said with a tear running down her cheek.

"So what you're saying is that he will die no matter what we do to save him?" Gray said starting to choke up.

"Gray I'm sorry but-"

"Just leave me alone Eve, and go save Stitch," he said without looking at Eve.

"Okay," she said going into the house. Gray put his hands on his face then looked up. I saw a tear run down his face. I moved closer to him then hugged him. It was weird at first but then he hugged me back it felt like we have done this before.

"Awww isn't that sweet you two make a perfect pair," we both jumped and let go of each other and turned around to see Ash. Both of our faces went red. "Sorry for interrupting but I thought you would like to go and see Stitch. He's asleep so don't try to wake him," Ash said. Gray got up and went in the house. I looked at Ash then he said," I'm sorry, I didn't know you guys were hugging. You guys were just hugging right?"

"I was only hugging him cause I felt bad, that's it," I said " Oh Ash can I tell you something?"

"Yeah sure," he said.

"I fell asleep while Gray was changing back to human form. I had a dream about a white wolf and it was running in a forest. It had the same colour of eyes as me. Does that mean anything or was that just a dream?" I asked wondering what he would say.

"Actually Kizzy it does. Actually you just found out what kind of wolf you are."
