Chapter 17

Gray's POV

Me and Ash were talking about what kind of cake we should have.

"I think the cake should have three layers. The bottom can be chocolate, the middle vanilla, and the top could be red velvet," Ash said.

"Umm, isn't the cake supposed to be decided by the groom and the bride?" I asked him.

"Well I'm just trying to get your opinion before I suggest it to her," he said.

I looked out of the window to see if I could see Eve's truck coming up the driveway. They have been out for almost four hours and me and Ash were running out of ideas on what to talk about. We found a suit that worked we found one in his parents things and it was a perfect fit and it was cheaper then getting one online or catalog.

"I wonder what's taking them so long, I thought finding a dress would only take at least two hours," said Ash.

I looked at him and shrugged and went back to looking out the window. I heard Cujo bark, I jumped and looked at him.

"Hey why did you do that," I said to him.

"He has better hearing then all of us, he did that cause Eve and Snow are home," Said a familiar voice.

"Hey Patch what you doing down here?" I ask her.

"What I can't be down here," she said," I came down here to see if you were done cause it's been four hours."

"Well we're done, and they just got in the driveway," Ash said.

I walked to the door to open it for them but before I got to the door Eve came bursting in. I looked outside to see where Snow was, she wasn't there.

"Where's Snow?" I asked nervously.

"She ahh, umm, I do t kno..." She hesitated then dropped to the ground.

"EVE!" Shouted Ash.

"What wrong wi-,Ash her head, it-it's bleeding,"I said.

"Go get a towel," Ash said.

"I got it Gray, help Ash," Patch said.

I went over to Eve and sat her up against the couch while Ash tried to clean the blood off her face with his shirt. Patch came in with a wet towel and rubbed it on Eve's head. When Patch cleaned her head we laid her on the couch.

Eve woke up an hour later. She was complaining that her head was sore. We told her she blacked out and her head was bleeding.

"So Eve, where's Snow?" Ash asks.

"Well, me and Snow we were heading into the bridal shop that Susan owns and we walked in and we didn't see her so we thought we should call her, so we did and we heard it ring and we followed it and... we found her mauled to death and I told Snow to call the police and these two guys ah, Axel and Razor," she said.

"Why were they at a bridal store, that seems odd," Patch said.

"They said that they were looking for us, so that they could take Snow back to the lab where she should be," Eve said starting to cry," They grabbed her and sedated her then that's when everything went dark and I woke up in the shop and I ran outside to see if I could follow them but I was out for at least two hours. They were long gone, I headed back to the truck and came back and I started to pass out, then I came in here and blacked out."

I put my hands over my face in frustration that Snow was gone. Everything was ruined now that she was gone, and we have no idea where she is. I ran up to my room and slammed the door behind me. I sat on my bed and stared at the floor. I heard my door open and saw that it was Ash.

"Hey you okay, by the looks of it I say you looked pissed," he said.

"Yeah I am, they ruined everything now that she's gone," I said.

"Hey, I'm the one who should be more worried here, she's my niece and-"

"She's also my girlfriend," I blurted out.

"What?"he looked at me in the eyes,"how long?"

"A week after Stitch died," I said.

I looked at him in worry that he was going to hate me for dating his niece. But he only just put his arm around me and smiled.

"Huh, I always knew their was something going on between you two," he said with a smile. "Don't worry it'll just be between you and me no one else has to know."

"Thanks, cause if Snow found out you knew, she'd kill me," I said with a laugh.

"Ha well I know where she gets it from," he said. " you should get some sleep, tomorrow we will come up with a plan on where they took her."

Ash left my room and I lied down on my bed and stared at my ceiling and wondered what was happening to Snow, if she was okay and not harmed by those people. But it doesn't matter we were going to save her and bring her back here where she belongs, here with us, with me.
