When you move in

You barely had time to know what had happened. One moment you were refilling the film for your camera, and the next, your mother barged into your room, more angrier than before.

"I cannot believe you, (Y/N) (L/N)!" She bellowed at you, her face red.

"What are you talking about, Mom?" You unknowingly yelled back.

"This!" She held up one of the yearbooks that were given out at the front of school. "All of the money wasted on this?! Do you have any idea what that means?!"

"Photos are meant to help create memories, Mom! Why can't you just see it?!"

"Photography is no hobby for a girl like you! You should be a lawyer, an accountant, or anything that is not dangerous!"

"This is exactly why Dad left you in the first place!" You boomed at her.

Your mother stood there, shocked, until she shook it away and slapped you hard. You yelped and fell to the ground from the hit.

"You disrespectful bitch!" She went to slap you again before another hand suddenly grabbed her wrist.

You looked up to find Alli staring coldly at your mother while standing over you protectively.

"Don't touch her again," Alli warned her.

She then turned to you with protection in her eyes. "Pack up as much as you can. You're coming with me."

Without a moment's thought, Alli took your mother by the arm and led her out of the room before closing the door. You started packing the necessities and anything else you needed. After a while, you found your mother gagged and tied up to a support beam of the house.

"Alli, do you have to be so rough on her?" You asked the Phoenix.

"Why not? She did try to hit you, right?"

Though a part of you felt bad for your mother, the other seemed satisfied about her deserving it.

"Ready to go?" Alli extended her hand out to you as she stood on the window sill.

You nodded slowly and took her hand.

Some time later, you and Alli soon arrived at the lair, where you spotted the guys at the skating area.

Mikey saw you first and gasped upon seeing your bruised cheek. "Ohmigosh! (Y/N), what happened?!"

"My mom happened..." you said quietly.

Raph walked up and wrapped his arms around you. "That's why you have your stuff here?"

"She's gonna be living with us from now on," Alli explained. "It's not safe for her to stay with her mother."

"Wait! Can she?!" Mikey asked excitedly.

"Well, of course she can," Raph smiled, still hugging you.

You smiled underneath his arms.

You opened the door to your home and placed your backpack on the floor. You were cornered in a few cuts and bruises, nothing too serious. You hoped your father wouldn't know about this, but you weren't so lucky.

"Hold it! (Y/N), come here, please," he firmly said.

You groaned internally and faces your father, who has his arms folded and what you can tell is a not-pleased expression.

"The school called me. They said you got into a fight with a girl and broke her nose and arm."

"She started it, and I finished it."
