When you're on your period

Groaning in pain, you laid upside-down on Raph's bed and gripped your abdomen. "Damn Mother Nature."

Raph walked in and saw you with a confused eyebrow.

"Whatcha doing, babe?" He asked you.

"Getting my blood from my private area and into my brain," you replied deadpanned.

"You...what?"

"I'm in...I'm on my period," you told him, blushing embarrassed.

"What's that?"

"It's when a girl wishes that she were a boy instead once a month," you replied, still groaning.

"O...k?" He backed away through his bedroom door.

"Ugh, you wouldn't understand. I'm heading down to the skating ramp," you got up and stomped past him, still holding your stomach.

Raph blinked, confused at your sudden change of behavior. Since when did you get so moody?

"Hey, Donnie? You in here?" Raph knocked on his purple-loving brother's doorway.

"Unless you have a real emergency, I'm not going to help you," Donnie told him without looking up from his Battle Shell.

"No, it's about (Y/N). She told me she's on her period, whatever that is. And top of that, she's acting weird, and I don't know why."

Donnie turned from his Battle Shell and pulled up his goggles from his eyes. "You mean she didn't tell you?"

"Tell me what?" Raph tilted his head.

Donnie stared at him before he suddenly erupted to full-blown laughter. He held onto his sides and nearly fell off his chair.

"What? What's so funny?" Raph asked him, folding his arms.

"R-Raph, she's in her menstrual cycle. Girls go through that once a week every month, they produce a main stream of blood from their ovaries for their whole lives," Donnie explained and wiped a tear from his eye while chuckling.

"Say what now?" Raph was still perplexed.

"She bleeds from here," Donnie still chuckled and pointed down.

Raph blushed when he remembered the way you were laying down on his bed and your sudden outburst. Donnie, knowing that Raph got the info he needed, went back to work on his Battle Shell.

When Raph came back to his room, you were back on his bed, groaning in agony.

You looked up and saw him with a glass of water and some painkillers. "Raph?"

"I had to ask Donnie about what you're going through, and, um..." Raph handed you the painkillers and glass.

You smiled with gratitude. Donnie had explained everything about this to him.

"Thank you, Donatello," you whispered.

You closed the bedroom door behind you with your foot, a bag of the items you needed for the week. Why did it have to be this week? You promised Leo that you would be there for movie night. And it looks like Mother Nature decided to come by today.

You were about to hide the bag under the bed, but Leo came by and tapped on the window with his odachi. You spun around, the bag still in your hands behind your back.
