She would seriously end up committing murder.
Honestly she didn't even know what she was doing there. The tension in the car was so thick that it could be cut with a butter knife.
Not only did she find herself trapped between her unbearable little brother and Saxa, but she also had to hold the candle between Fjor and Gry.
Even the idea of jumping out of the car seemed far more appealing at the moment.
"Awesome double-date fucking, huh?" Laurits suddenly asked no one from the back of the car.
Helja clenched her fist along her thigh to keep her from beating her idiotic brother to death.
Gry immediately leaned in her seat to turn to Laurits coldly."We are not on a date. "
"We are not dating either, Laurits." Saxa added with a look of disgust on her face before glancing teasingly between the blonde at her side and her brother behind the wheel."Helja on the other hand."
Helja winced as she closed her eyes before leaving a groan. "Oh god, I'm in hell!"
"Drama queen!" Teased Laurits nudging his sister lightly with his elbow before continuing."Plus who said I was talking about you anyway?"
"Now, you're way off." Added Fjor.
Helja looked on with irritation as her brother leaned over Fjor's seat."Well, Fjor, maybe it's time for some real music."
Helja let her head fall back against the headrest knowingly before moaning at the sound of Solen Sortner playing through the car's speakers. She gave a look at all the occupants of the car, grimacing at the horrible music ruining her eardrums before meeting Gry's equally horrified look.
The blonde held her head in her hands before shouting over the deafening music."What language is it these guys are singing in?"
"It's an old language." Helja sighed, looking bored at the mountains parading outside. She was totally oblivious to the looks that all of the occupants were giving her. Laurits in surprise and pride, Gry with a deep frown and Fjor and Saxa with gravity.
"Icelandic." Corrected Saxa, exchanging a new serious look with Fjor through the mirror under the confused look of Laurits.
"I must say, it looks like you're into all kinds of different guys, Gry." Laurits said suddenly letting Helja immediately give a warning look at her brother snake as he turned to her with a wide sly smile. "Don't you agree, Hel? Again it would seem that you share the same tastes you and her."
"One more word Laurits and I swear to god I'm going to throw you out of this moving car." Helja gloomily warns clearly out of patience with her brother's childishness.
Laurits displayed a broad smile clearly satisfied with what he had just created before raising his hands in sign of surrender.
However, he quickly set his sights on Gry, leaving Helja to shake her head in abandonment. She briefly met Fjor's gaze through the rearview mirror before frowning as she hastened to look away.
"I mean, like there's Magne whom you can define as the hushed, heavy, but honest type." Listed Laurits, leaning back on Fjor's seat. "And then there's Fjor, here. Who's more like handsome and grave and mysterious."
"Great topic of conversation." Helja mumbled as she absently shook her head as she watched the landscape in annoyance.
Saxa gave a visibly amused look at her behavior before adding her own grain of salt."What about Helja? What kind of girl is she?"
