The rest of the day passed at an unimaginable speed after that for Helja. She had ended up finding Laurits earlier and had finally given him Magne's essay in the hopes that he would give it to their brother without making any changes to her markings. She knew him well enough to know he was capable of it.

It was one of those times when she wished she hadn't known her little brother so well. She quickly understood her mistake once Isolde texted her about the joke her little brother had made on Mag. He had simply changed the majority of her notes. It seemed that he had made their brother pass like some sort of misogynist in the eyes of Ms. Judgy aka Gry.

Personally, Helja didn't really care what Gry said, but she knew her brother had a crush on the blonde. So she could easily feel the embarrassment of her twin. Hence the reason why she had spent the majority of the evening reviewing her notes with him to help him reveal how much more he was than what this bitch could currently think of him.

Obviously, Magne didn't seem to see Gry's behavior, but Helja wasn't stupid. Far from there.

For starters, it was pretty obvious that there was something between her and Fjor. Then, she seemed to take a high toll on anyone she met.

Now, her relationship with Fjor didn't matter to Helja but it was a problem for her when it affected her brother.

Magne was a nice person, way too nice. He was not really aware of the world and its cruelty.

Helja hated seeing her brothers suffer.

So she was currently standing leaning against one of the goalposts on the high school football field to observe the interaction between her brother and Gry. She readjusted her scarf around her neck and shoulders as she saw the duo making their way outside the building.

Sensing the cold, she thrust her hands into the pockets of her oversized puffer jacket before puckering her lips at the sight nearby. From what she could see, the blonde seemed barely listening to her brother. Instead, she seemed busier looking for something in her bag as Magne desperately tried to get her attention. Honestly, it was painful to see.

He finally gave her his notes with a broad, proud smile just to quickly lose it once she took his paper without even looking at it.

Nonetheless, Magne seemed to persist as he called again after Gry, forcing the blonde to turn around.

Her observation was suddenly interrupted as one of her earphones was pulled, leaving Helja to sit up with a start before giving Laurits a scathing look at the sight of his broad amused smile.

"Are you spying on our brother now? Creepy."

"Don't even get me started on this, okay? I'm just trying to tidy up the mess you made."Helja immediately defended before readjusting her backpack as she resumed walking towards the high school gate.

Laurits hurried to join her side with a quick stride."C'mon, Helja, I already said I would apologize."

"You don't owe me an apology." The platinum blonde replied in annoyance.

"It's not my fault that Magne is so easy to get hold of. And in my defense, you knew from the start that it was a bad idea to trust me with his essay."

Helja paused at Laurits' mockery before giving him a frustrated look over her shoulder."There are funny things and others not, Laurits. You know very well how much Magne endures because of his dyslexia."

"You're doing it again."Scoffed Laurits equally frustrated."Magne, Magne, and again Magne! It's always about him."

Helja immediately rolled her eyes with a scoff."Please spare me the melodramatic monologue about brotherly jealousy. I remind you that I am the only daughter of these siblings and the middle child."
