Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep–while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

The repetitive sound of the doorbell suddenly sounded in Helja's sleepy mind. The blonde frowned, keeping her eyes closed as the sounds around her seemed to be more and more real.

She left a low growl as she tried to make herself more comfortable against her pillow before finally opening her eyelids. She blinked several times to try to get used to the sudden light in her room before frowning again at the doorbell.

She straightened up, removing the comforter around her shoulders before giving a lethargic look on the alarm clock lying on her bedside table.

It was almost five in the afternoon.

She should be out of school by this time.

She brought her hand over her face to rub sleep over her eyes before pausing at the sight of the three new orange boxes of tablets. She swallowed, looking away before finally removing the cover from her legs to get up from her bed.

She headed straight for her desk to retrieve the black hoodie lying on the back of her desk chair before making her way to her door. She opened the door before silently making her way down the hall. She walked past Magne's closed bedroom with a sad feeling before making her way up the stairs.

The sound of the doorbell got louder each time.

Helja restrained a groan from her impatient interlocutor before accelerating her steps in the hallway. She didn't take long to readjust her sweatshirt before finally opening her door just to take a quick break from seeing Gry,

The latter almost jumped at the sight of the state in which her friend was. She gave Helja a concerned look at the sight of her wan complexion. Her almost sickly pallor amplified the dark circles surrounding her eyes. They look more like bruises.

Helja didn't have the strength to say anything as she saw the blonde's grimace in front of her. Instead she just went into the warmth of her house again, leaving the door open.
