"I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity."
"Can you stop gesturing?" Helja suddenly exclaimed as she gave a frustrated look at her brother.
Magne immediately paused in his pacing back and forth from her bedroom just to deepen his frown on his sister. She was not reading fast enough."That has ever been a problem for you before. You could always read with noise around."
"Yeah, well, maybe I'm a little distracted." The platinum blonde admitted impatiently before rubbing her eyes at the sensation of a slight headache pointing the tip of his nose.
She didn't know why, but she just seemed unable to concentrate. In fact, it was a lie. She absolutely knew why she was unable to concentrate. She just didn't want to admit it. She couldn't believe she had been touched by Fjor so much. She had been totally elsewhere for the rest of the day. No matter how much she had tried to move on, she kept coming back to thinking of the brown Jutul.
She let out a new sigh as she gave a new skeptical look at the books she had borrowed from Baldr's bookstore before giving a look at Magne. The latter had resumed his pacing from her room. If he continued he risked installing the floor on the fire.
At the feeling of her concentrated look on him Magne immediately paused before giving a new look in impatience to his sister."So?"
"So what?" Helja sighed with an arched eyebrow challenging him to finish his thought.Magne gave her an incredulous look before rushing straight towards her to snatch the book from her hands before opening it on one of the pages to point it in impatience."Look at this! It's just like when we got here. The old woman of the spar. She also touched my forehead. What about these other pages? Look, the hammer, the fights. This is exactly what is happening to me."
"So what? You're the reincarnation of the Norse god Thor?" Helja commented sarcastically.
Magne paused, shrugging his shoulders with a wide look of uncertainty."That would explain what I saw in the mirror of the Jutuls."
"You were drunk, Magne!"
"I know what I saw!"
The blonde rolled her eyes, shaking her head before giving a flat look at her brother as she continued with sarcasm."Right and Laurits is the reincarnation of Loki and I, of the goddess of the-"
"The goddess of death." Magne interrupted seriously."Hel."
"I was joking, Mag."
"Not me."
Helja gave an incredulous look at her brother, genuinely concerned about his sanity before shaking her head with a sigh."I knew that the Disney Marvel universe would end up wrecking the brains of our generation."
