Hejla Seier, daughter of Turid Seier and sister of Magne and Laurits Seier. Returning to the city where their father had perished was not necessarily the definition of happiness for Helja. Even less when she begins to realize that this city is much...
"Lunch. The first aid kit. Your hiking bags. I forgot something ?"

Their mother's ramble was just background noise for Helja as she stared at the cereals floating in her milk. She absently turned her spoon in the white liquid clearly still disturbed by what she had discovered yesterday afternoon.
Baldr was like the Jutuls.
They were giants.
It was almost a certainty at this point.
And it may well be that she and her twin are completely nuts.
She frowned more at the mere thought.
However, that did not explain the death of Isolde. Why was she dead? Was it really an accident or was her brother right? And the Jutuls. Did they have anything to do with her death?
Helja couldn't believe she found herself suspecting Fjor. Admittedly, the brown could be a real asshole when he wanted to but she had seemed to see another side of his personality. There were times when Helja thought she saw the real Fjor Jutul and not the one hidden behind luxury and his status.
Maybe it was just a phase. Maybe Fjor had just been playing with her. And she was stupidly caught at her own game.
Or maybe she was too hard on him.
Helja let an inaudible sigh leave her lips at the mere thought before letting her spoon fall back into her bowl. She had lost her appetite. She pushed it with her free hand before holding back a groan as she crossed her arms on the counter before resting her head on them in despair.
"Is something wrong, sweetie?"
"Yeah, everything." Helja moaned in her arms before suddenly raising her head to gauge her mother with a weary pout."My life is hell!"
Turid immediately gave her daughter a flat look before signing her bowl." Are you done ?"
"Seriously?"
Turid rolled her eyes as she picked up her daughter's bowl before making her way to the sink."You're barely starting to live. What could make your life miserable?"
"Uh, well, this town to start." Helja replied, giving a sarcastic look on her mother's back.
Turid rolled her eyes again before taking a breath as she glanced over her shoulder at Helja."I thought you had started to get used to this place."
"Seriously? What could have made you think that?" Helja asked immediately, frowning in a scowl.
"You've made a friend? This boy. Baldr, right?"
Helja looked down at her hands absently playing with it at her mother's question before squinting her lips in uncertainty.
She had even come to doubt Baldr's sincerity with her. He had hidden his true identity. Still, she had never really been very honest with him.
