Emma's P.O.V

I felt really awkward when Calum left. I've only known these people for a few hours and my own boyfriend had stranded me at Michael's house!

"Do you guys want to watch a movie?" Michael asked putting the TV on.

"Yeah sure, but not one of those rubbish romantic films." Ashton said.

Michael decided to put 'Elf' on. It's September and this boy puts a Christmas movie on. Oh well, it is my favourite movie as well.

A short while into the film I decided to go outside to give Calum a call and make sure he was alright. The line rang a few times before going to his voice mail.

"Hi it's Calum, sorry I'm not around just now. Leave a message and I'll try call you back, See ya."

I decided not to leave a message and just hang up. He probably went home and fell asleep, that's all that boy seems to do.

I turned round to go back inside to continue watching the film.

"SHIT!" I shouted, startled at Luke standing behind me.

"Ugh, sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Luke quickly said. "I just wanted to make sure you were alright." He continued.

"Oh, um yeah, I guess so." I slightly stuttered. "I just thought I'd check on Cal but it went to voicemail."

"You know since we started school again he hasn't really been acting the same." Luke told me.

"What do you mean, he hasn't been acting the same?" I asked him confused.

"Um, if you want I could walk you back to his and you can check on him?" Luke suggested, clearly trying to avoid my question.

"Oh, okay, yeah let's go." I said walking back inside the house.

We said bye to everyone and headed towards Calum's house, which was luckily only a 10 minute walk from Michael's.

Luke and I talked a little bit on the way. I wanted to get to know him a little better, but he still seemed a little shy around me, meaning most of the walk was filled with awkward silences.

We got to Calum's house and I knocked on the door. Calum's mum, Joy answered. As soon as she saw me she pulled me into a tight hug.

"Hi Emma! We're so happy your family moved out here." She said pulling away from the hug.

"Hi Joy. We're happy to be out here. It means we get to see you all a lot more." I said smiling. "I'm actually here to see Calum, is he in?" I continued.

"Um, yeah. He's in his room." She said looking past me at Luke. She was obviously confused to why I was with him but she didn't say anything.

"Ok, well it's nice to see you." I said before giving Joy another hug and heading upstairs with Luke.

We got to Calum's room and I pushed the door open.

I couldn't believe what I saw. Calum had some other girl wrapped around his waist and his lips attached to hers.

"Cal?" I said at a whispered pitch, feeling the tears running down my face.

Calum quickly detached his lips from the other girls and let go of her.

"Emma, wait. I can explain." He said as I turned my back towards him.

I ignored his calls of my name as I ran down the stairs and out of his house.
