"Section 55 should include 8 pages of report..."

The deep voice of the professor buzzed her ears like honey bees as he assigned boring new tasks to his students. Her peers would whined and beg for mercy but she would nod and accept the assignments knowing that she'll be done with these lame work in just a day. Maturing too fast mentally and emotionally did grant her a mind of an adult though she's still living in this tiny body of an 18 years old.

Graduating years earlier than the people her age put her in a pace of constant racing and galloping especially in the track of her education. In week's time, she will be expecting a work desk in Gangnam Psychology Hospital where she'll be assigned to clients of different psychology problems and fortunately for her, she's already an intern there.

The clock ticked and told the time of dismissal. The professor released the class and students rushed out like bunch of high schoolers even though they were grown ups university students in their early or even mid twenties.

Though she was a lot young than them, her older peers seemed to be too intimidated by her intellectual self to approach the girl which always leaves her to be alone.

As she dragged her feet across the lecture hall, the professor's deep voice called out to her, making her halt in her tracks.

"Venus Lee"

The called girl turned around, meeting the gaze of the old professor.

"Yes, dad?"

The old man softly smiled before he slowly stood up from his chair with much struggle considering he wasn't youthful to be agile. He approached his daughter before patting her head.

Venus glanced down at his briefcase and took it from him before hooking her arm around his, giving as much support as she could. Her dad smiled wider at his kind and caring daughter but his smiled soon faded when he recalled his intention in calling her.

"Venus, are you sure you're ready to work as a psychologist?"

Her head lowered as she sighed. Same old question from old pops. Questions like these were often answered with great enthusiasm by Venus but she gradually finds it annoying especially when her dad was constantly convincing her to chill in life a little bit more and enjoy being a teenager like a 18 years old instead of going through life with a pace of a 25 years old.

Her dad couldn't help but grow worried for her dear daughter as he watched her grow so fast, too fast for her age. Being a psychology professor, he knew perfectly well what caused Venus to live like this.

The trauma of watching her mom being slit by the throat by a psychopath had caused great impact on Venus' young self and ever since then, the little girl pledged to become the greatest psychologist that cures all disorder and get rid of psychopath so they won't hurt anymore people.

But that wish was made when she was young. Too young to understand the world of psychology and for that, the professor became anxious for the girl and doubted her capability in succeeding even with that big brain of hers.

Venus sighed before glancing at her dad with bored gaze.

"Dad, come on. I'm an adult now and I'm getting myself into work after graduating. End of story."

The girl shook her head before tugging her dad down the hallway and towards their favorite after-school restaurant.

His fingers graced across the papers in front of him as he pored through the small typings on them. The documents were crucial to his business and bring him bags of cash which was why he put in more effort in checking him before he swayed his pen on the box below the papers, inking his initial on it.
