"Many provinces of South Korea are now infected and spreading towards North Korea and China. It was just known that a shipment from Korea arrived at the shore of Costa Rica, releasing cabins of infected. Hence, spreading wildly in America. Now-"

The sound of the reporter was cut off when Jimin abruptly locked his phone and threw it across the table. He leaned back and stared straight ahead with millions of thought racing through his mind, calculating the possibilities, the outcome and of course, an escape.

Fortunately for a psychopath like him, this zombie shit wasn't affecting him. He was rather calm and collected whereas his young psychologist was obviously struggling to keep her screams in. Jimin averted his gaze from his phone to the curled up figure at the end of the couch. There sat a blank looking girl with a bag of chips in her hands.

Though she looked calmed, Venus was far from sane as worried swirled her head like thunder and hurricanes. She had been in the same spot for the past two days but she would rather rot here than becoming one of those rotten creatures outside the pantry.

And yes, Jimin and Venus were trapped in the pantry for two days while the infected roamed around the building. The man was surprised at the young girl's quietness throughout the days, maybe she was just scared or maybe because she was trained to hold in her emotions as a psychologist.

Whatever it was, Jimin was glad to have her mouth shut tight because he have been squeezing his brain over the past days to figure out a plan but seeing how that underground lab's disaster had turned into a world wide chaos was slowly cutting off his routes of escape.

He glanced at his phone again, finding its battery shining in orange. The power saving mode wouldn't last him long if he doesn't get out and do something. With almost half of the country's electricity down, Jimin knew he had make a move but then again, he had a girl to take with him.

Jimin got up and went to his prepared work table where he spent time figuring out ways to survive. His eyes scanned the building's map, memorizing the routes and turns before looking at the list of things he needed to grab. Soon, he made up his mind. He turned to the messy looking Venus before approaching her. He stopped in front of her before calling her name.

"Venus Lee"

The girl flinched upon the sudden voice, making her chips fell out. She dragged her tired gaze up to the man. She slightly shuddered under his hooded stare. It's been quite some time since the last time she looked into those dark orbs and she realized just how scary it was to stare at them for too long.

Venus slowly grabbed a chip and put it in her mouth, something she was taught to calm down her nerves. Eat. She gulped before speaking back with a cracked voice.

"Yes?"

Jimin slightly leaned and grabbed a chip for himself too. Thank God that they were trapped in the pantry where food were everything. Not to mention the comfortable couches and beanbags for the duo so they didn't need to sleep on the cold floor. Plus, there was med-kit as well but no matter how much of a paradise it might seemed, they needed to get out because resources will run out and that door looked fragile after the zombie outside barged on it a few times.

"We need to get out of here"

Venus clenched on the bag of chips with wide eyes and gapped mouth. Though she never know what Jimin was planning for the past two days, she never expected him to suggest such absurd idea of stepping out of this pantry. Wasn't Jimin a millionaire of some sort? Can't he just call for some chopper and fly them away?

As if Jimin could read her mind, he explained,

"Don't expect my money to do anything at an apocalypse like this. You heard the news, the entire world is infected and only countries like Russia with massive weapons can survive. Which is why I need to get us there"
