He could hear the faint chattering and footsteps out in the busy village. Seemed like it's a daily thing here to get up and hustle even though there were zombies crawling out there. He did see a couple of fishing boats and some plantation on his way to the small house, maybe that's how they've been surviving. That also explained the gang that kidnapping them, maybe the villagers had a deal with those crackheads. Food in exchange for protection. That also explained why the man wanted a deal with him as well because the gang knew they were running out of weapons or resources and it would not be long before they become defenseless and stand naked waiting to get shredded into pieces by the infected once.
He let out a soft sigh but kept his eyes closed as he wasn't ready to deal with the morning just yet. Jimin have been awaken since minutes or even hours ago and the man refused to get up and deal with reality since he was still quite sore from those goddamn tranquilizers. In all honesty though, he did take pride for being a badass and took two darts of bear tranquilizers. He didn't even know his body could do such a thing but damn it made him looked badass. But it made him wondered if Venus was on the same page, she did witness the entire scene. He really wondered if she was impressed or not. Hopefully yes.
Speaking of that pretty baby, Jimin hasn't felt a single shift or movements beside him. Come to think of it, she didn't even sleep on her last night. All he could remember how Venus using the bathroom and told him to go to bed first, which he gladly did and immediately fell deep into slumber. He was too exhausted to hold his eyelids open and wait for the girl so he just drifted away. He turned to the side and flopped his shackled arms to try to feel the girl only to have his hands landed on an empty space, making him frowned in confusion.
Jimin battered his eyes open and started scanning around the room but found nothing but folded blanket and smoothed sheets as if no one occupied the space beside him last night. Panic started to arise in him as he got up with much struggle because of his chained wrists. He stepped out of the room but the house was empty as well, making him even more anxious. The girl never left him every since the day of the outbreak and the only time they were separated was when they got kidnapped and even then it was like suffocation for them but now she's gone, again.
The man bolted towards the door barged out of the house, earning weird looks from the villagers as they passed by him. Jimin's breathing became irregular as he frantically scanned the village for the girl but all he could see was men working on the field, women doing laundry and children playing around but no sign of his girl. It got him all ganged up ready to fight whoever took her away again. He begun jogging around in search of Venus, not caring if he crashed into someone. At that moment, she was all he could think of. His eyes pored through every single crowd hoping and catch a glimpse of her distinct features but they were nowhere close to his beautiful babygirl. He needed to find her, to hold her, to see her if not he'll lose his mind once again and this time he was sure to break this damn shackle if they upset him again.
As he picked up his pace and ran through the village, Jimin found himself nearing the small fishing port of the village where he least expect her to be but never say never. He stopped in his tracks when he reached the edge of the port where his surroundings was replaced with water instead of the busy village. As he panted with eyes still eagerly searching for the girl, a faint giggle caught his attention. It wasn't just any giggle. It was a very familiar one. Too familiar for his liking.
Jimin wasted no time before approaching that giggle with quick steps until he reached a bridge that stretched out for fishermen to unload their catch but there was only one boat at that time and there was where he found the girl. However, Venus wasn't alone. She was surrounded by 5 men, not just any men, they were the ones who kidnapped them and also struck Jimin with bear tranquilizers. Upon seeing her getting all acquainted and comfortable around those disgusting men instead of waking up with him, Jimin started to fume as irritation built up in him before he stomped towards the chattery boat.
