"Chim"The voice cracked as it uttered, sounding so weak yet relieved, so fragile yet desperate. It was hoarse and rough, a voice that showed utter fear and weakness but held a hint of hope after being saved from the bites of the infected. Just when she thought she's end with a painful death, a paint horse came running back to her with a ride with long hair which she assumed to be a female. She remembered vividly how the other riders were sprinting for their lives and not glancing back but this one female rider took a turn and stretched her hand out towards her. She felt hot tears running down her face when she saw her hand and quickly reached for it. She took a wild guess that this savior of hers was someone very important to the group of riders judging by the way ferocious gunshots they fired at the zombies behind them and sure enough she was indeed someone important but she didn't it to be important to a specific someone.
Someone she was so damn familiar with since toddler and might have developed mature feelings for as they grew up together. Even by his voice, she could recognize him immediately. His voice did change and deepened a little but his roaring scolding was more or less the same because she gotten scolded before as well but she couldn't help but noticed the softened yet urgent tone he used, as if he was anxious rather than furious. The scolding she got back in the days were clearly spoken out of anger and not so much of care and worry. She couldn't help but grew curious about it. Then, she called out to him.
Upon hearing his nickname, Jimin whipped around but he wore a stone cold glare and clenched jaw. It's been so long since he's called that name and he wasn't too happy to hear it again. Don't get him wrong, he did miss the old days and his hometown and hearing that old nickname made him nostalgic but he still felt sick as some of the dark memories were made there. He remembered his first stab, his first kill, his first blood drawing and his first gunshot. All in one city. Busan. And there's not much people left from his childhood that he know of but he couldn't quite recognize that voice.
Jimin left go of Venus and the girl instantly dropped onto the ground before 7 came to stand by her. The man drew his blade put as he approached the sitting figure of a weak girl before stopping in front of her and placed his blade right beside her throat, showing a clear threat. He wasn't too happy that his girl went back for this weakening figure and he wanted to blame her for putting Venus in danger with her blood curdling scream but he had to know who she was before beheading her because that nickname of his was only known by a handful of people who believed to be dead after the outbreak.
"Who the fuck are you?"
Jimin growled at her and edged his blade nearing to her neck, urging her to speak. The girl flinched and was about to back away when two guardians stood behind her with a stone cold face, ready to witness an execution which wouldn't surprise considering their Secondary General wasn't good with reasoning and Venus was too week to deal with him now, leaving the weak girl all alone, by herself, to face this monstrous man.
"C-Chim it's me....Jina"
The girl spoke with trembling voice as she watched her old friend glared at her with his long black blade at her neck. She never imagine herself at the tip of his blade after being so acquainted back in the days but here she is, under the threat of Park Jimin, her cousin's childhood friend. Honestly, it took she a few seconds to recognize his appearance as well. The man did change a lot. His infamous chubby cheeks are now chiseled face with sharp jawline, his short black hair became long greyish long that was fading into a dusty blonde, the change in his body was too obvious to ignore with the muscular yet leaned and skinny figure.
No doubt he's the Jimin she knew but he seemed too different, a little too intimidating for her to accept. Nonetheless, that killer demeanor he gives off still strong as ever and she could see how his mind had evolved overtime just like his body. 15 years were enough to completely change a person and the young Jimin she knew was nowhere to be found. Jina widened her eyes with a hand on her chest, pleading him to spare her crumbling life. She wasn't as close to him like her cousin but she knew he wouldn't hurt an old acquaintance of his, right? Hopefully....
