3rd person POV
Everyone in Kaia's mansion had a strange level of adoration for her. But for a few days, they have been noticing that she seemed really annoyed.
As to what really happened?
Kaia is frustrated because she now wants to expand her business to something new, but the question was what to choose from all the options.
She doesn't have enough influence to be setting fashion trends. She doesn't want to be an author and rewrite some of the best book's she'd read in her last life.
"That's it," she says loudly at the dinner table. (A/N: She came back home early today because she was bored, so everyone was eating with her. )
Everyone jumped a little.
"Lady Kaia, is everything alright?" Asked raven, at this point she basically lives here.
"Yeah, I've been thinking about wanting to enter a new industry. And I just figured out which one to enter" Kaia gave a smile, but for some reason, everyone on the table thought she was gonna go on a war. Kaia's sinister side always showed up when she thought about making more money.
"May I enquire as to which one?"
Kaia's smile grew wider, which made alarmed everyone. "Sweets and baking". While Kaia wasn't the best baker, meaning she was the worst at following the recipe, she remembered the recipes to be able to train a few people and figure out through trial and error.
"I don't understand," Raven said.
"Well, I have recently acquired knowledge of baking some of the best sweet dishes. And since very few exist in the market. Winning the market will be the easiest job ever."
"Ahh I still can't imagine what kind of sweets you mean, but I believe in you Lady Kaia," Raven said with admiration in her eyes.
"Very well I need you to find me some people who are will to work in the kitchen and can keep secrets. Also, call lawyers. tell the people you bring over for this job, they will have to sign contracts with me if they want to work for me."
"Yes, I will do so first thing tomorrow."
"And before I forget, move into the mansion. You practically live here and will be able to teach everyone better if you start living here. Of course, if it's too much responsibility, you have the right to say no." The moment Kaia finished what she said. Raven started crying. While Kaia was dumbfounded, everyone else on the table seems to understand the meaning behind Raven's tears. They were happy tears.
"I- I will move in. Th- thank you so much lady Kaia." Raven managed to say all that between her sobs.
At this point, Kaia stood up. Even though she did not know how to comfort people properly, nor did she understood the meaning behind the tears, she did what she could do best.
Kaia's hand moved towards ravens head and pat gently. At this, Raven started crying even more and grabbed onto Kaia's shirt. Kaia continued to pat ravens hair and waited for her to calm down. After this everyone retired to their room and Yevette showed Raven to a room closest to Kaia. Where Raven spent the night and many more after that
