Chapter 9

Yevette POV

Since that black hair red-eyed boy has joined us, he is the same age as me which is 6. Lady Kaia has treated him differently for some reason. Although she gives him as much attention she gives us, I wonder why she doesn't want the boy to go under spy training like the rest of us.

Like some of the others, Lady Kaia also named this boy 'Azai.' I think lady Kaia is really good at naming people. (A/N: I think that you think she is perfect)

He is a smart boy though he learned everything quickly and has almost caught up with me, who is the oldest student here. But I will not let him pass me. I will study harder. Harder than anyone so I don't lose. I will also train 10 times harder at the sword training. Hmph, I will always remain the best. Try your best, Azai.

Kaia's POV

The kids seem enthusiastic about learning these days and seem to be doing better. I think it's because of Azai. That kid is strong and smart, probably because of the Black Dragon blood. Well, it's a good thing everyone feels motivated.

Azai's POV

When teacher raven first found me and brought me to Lady Kaia, I thought she would have red eyes just like everyone else has. I thought I would be thrown on the streets again. So I hid my eyes with my hair. But I still talked as I have many other assholes on the street, with courage that won't lose to anyone else.

Lady Kaia sent me to her house after she met me, and over there, Teacher Raven handed me to a kid my age. Her name was Yevette, she told me to take a bath and gave me some clothes. She first explained to me how to use the soap. And filled a big bucket (A/N: it's actually a tub, but he doesn't know it yet.) and told me that I'm supposed to go inside the tub and clean myself properly that no first is left she said, "Lady Kaia likes it better if we always stay clean." Her voice held no malice like all the other people had in my life up till now.After the bath, I dried myself with the towel and wore the clothes I was given. They were a little big, but they made me so happy. Then an older girl came to me and brushed my hair. I protested because my red eyes are bad, and they will hate me for it. But when she this girl saw my eyes, she said "you must keep your face visible. You would look better that way, and we would be able to tell what you look like. By the way, my name is Sia. Do you have a name?" (A/N: Sia is the oldest girl that I talked about earlier)

I shook my head.

"Well, doesn't matter, let's feed you you must be hungry" she then bought me food.I ate very fast and almost coughed up choking.

Sia said I don't need to eat so fast, but I couldn't hold my hunger.

By night I had slept a little and was woken up so that I could meet Lady Kaia. When I was bought to a room. She was sitting down. My first thought was beautiful. She had Auburn hair that looked like leaves in the autumn season which reached till her waist, and her emerald eyes seemed like even time can freeze under them, but she wasn't scary. I don't know what beautiful exactly is, but I guess she is what one can call beautiful.

I stood in front of her for a while, then she finally told yevette to bring me to a room. Yevette was the girl who taught me to take a bath I the big bucket.

I was nervous while Yevette was taking me to a room. My damn eyes, no one will come to except me because I have these eyes. I was almost about to cry when yevette said, "don't worry, lady Kaia is not gonna throw you away. If she was to, then she would have said so back then instead of asking me to take you to a room."

The next morning I met lady Kaia when she was having breakfast.

"Do you have a name?" She asked.

I shook my head.

"Azai, that will be your name from now on." She said without a second thought like she knew all along what to name me (She technically did because of the book in her previous life). "Everyone here will help you. If you need anything, tell them that. You will be going under the same training they do. Yevette will tell you all about the daily training sessions and Raven's classes." Lady Kaia then stood up Sia brought a jacket for her she took it and left.

Yevette told me that 5 days a week teacher raven will teach us various subjects. And every day we will be trained to learn sword fighting and become stronger.

Truth be told I don't care if Lady Kaia works me to bone because I was so happy (kid, please don't. My MC will be killed by The Duke if you do.)
