Chapter 6

3rd person POV

When Kaia reached home, she saw the girl she met this morning and Raven waiting for her.

"Has she eaten?" Kaia asked while walking in her home, which was a large villa that Kaia had bought due to considerable about of money she earned. She had only hired people to clean the villa, and then they would have to leave as Kaia hated being disturbed in her private life.

"Yes, she has," said raven while following her.

"Very well, you can leave. The girl stays."

Raven was lost at first, but she quickly gained composure and conformed to Kaia's request.

"Follow me," Kaia said to the girl.

They both entered the receiving room of the villa.

"Sit," Kaia said while pouring herself a glass of wine. "What's your name?" Kaia turned around and started walking towards the girl.

"I don't have one. I grew up in the slum my mother died before giving me a name. People have just called me bad names up till now." The girl was looking down up until now. She suddenly looked up into Kaia's eyes and said, "So please give me a name." To Kaia, she looked like a ferocious rabbit.

The moment the girl looked into Kaia's eyes, Kaia was reminded of her right-hand person in her previous life. "Yevette. That will be your name from now on." This was also the name of the right-hand person in Kaia's past life.

Yevette looked happy with her name.

"This week you will not be doing anything as you are too week to help me. So build your strength by eating and resting as I will start your training next week. While you make not have regained your strength properly, I do not have time to waste. If you do not prove yourself worthy when I want you to, I will kill you. Remember you were the one that said that you would do anything."

Even though Kaia's words were as sharp as knife Yevette had never felt happier, she just felt that someone needs her and will care for her if she is worthy. She was a child from the slums that no one wanted or even looked at unless it was with bad intentions. Yevette felt so happy she was on the verge of crying.

"Have you been given a room?" Kaia asked

Yevette shook her head.

"Follow me" Kaia took Yevette to a random room in the mansion as she couldn't care less and said, "do whatever you want with the room just don't burn it".

Kaia said while remembering the Yevette in her former life, who had burned the room given for her just for laughs. Kaia snickered in her mind.
